Services
Regular pool cleanings are necessary to ensure a worry free pool season, and keep your pool sparkling clean. We will vacuum your pool, brush the tile and walls. We will clean your filter and baskets, backwash your filter system when necessary. We also test and balance pool water. In addition, we leave behind a service invoice that lists what we did during our visit.
Pool coping is the material above the tile line that generally covers the top of the pool structure. This part of the pool is normally 12 wide and is called the bondbeam. Coping comes in many different materials such as poured concrete, brick, flagstone, pre-cast concrete, travertine or tile. Frost proof tile has the ability to withstand freeze/thaw conditions with mineral effect.

Vinyl liner pools are built with zinc coated, galvanized steel panels constructed of the highest quality steel. We've been using Fun in the Sun since we bought our house in May 2019, as the house had an above ground pool. The owner of this business inspected the pool before we bought the home, told us it was in good shape, and expertly helped us with repairs and season openings/closing the first year. His prices are also very reasonable compared to most other companies in the area. But there's a reason for that.
Over the past 2 years, he repeatedly didn't show up for scheduled service, never finished a job he promised to return and complete/correct this year (relining the pool, 4 weeks later than scheduled

These guys really came through, despite some of the difficulties of the current economic environment- shipping, materials, etc. The pool is beautiful! The entire crew was amazing- skilled, professional, experienced. Excellent attention to detail, and they take the time to understand a customer's needs and concerns. We highly recommend.

Very friendly, personable, and honest. It’s my first time owning a pool so I don’t know anything at all. They were very patient with me and explained everything in detail. I had a new liner installed in my pool and it looks amazing. The install was fast and as expected. I chose them to do my liner because they offered better quality liner than anyone was offering at a better price and even more because I felt I received honest recommendations. All other people that came to give me quotes were dishonest and were charging an arm and a leg for lies. I’d recommend Fun in the sun pools to everyone

I bought a house in Essex county in May of 2020 and it came with an in-ground pool - which I wasn't too excited about. The thought of all the upkeep and maintenance - and cost - made me nervous. A friend recommended I call Manny at Fun in The Sun and he has been absolutely amazing. Super responsive when I have an issue, calls me back same day, and comes out and takes care of the problem. Before using Fun in the Sun, I used a few other pool services but nothing compares, they are the best!!!

I have been using this company for 2 years and they were a referral before me. Manny is always there when he says he will be and does a great job explaining everything he is doing so I feel like I know exactly what is needed, and most importantly, WHY it's needed. He also did some masonry work around our receding coping line and restored it back to where it should be. I used Fun in the sun to put in a new in ground pool (16x34) which included quite a bit of concrete patio and a waterfall. Manny was great to work with and gave us good/affordable ideas that fit our backyard & budget. He was honest with his schedule from the start and got us our pool for this summer (even with the pandemic).

I have used other pool companies in the area throughout the years, and none of them even come close to the work ethic and service provided by Fun in The Sun. My pool has been clear upon opening every year since using Fun in the Sun. In the past, it would take weeks for my pool to clear up with other locally well-known companies.
