Excellent company and local! After taking about 8 bids, Boehm exceeded all expectations from start to finish. The owner is able to balance taking care of customers and his employees. One of my kids was exposed to Covid-19, I told the owner. He said he didn't want to even risk the chance of any of his employees being potentially exposed. Now that's a company that has its priorities in order. Keep up the excellent work team Boehm!

My experience with Boehm Heating & Air was exceptional. Jim B. evaluated my 100 year old home for mini-split system and provided me with several options based on my budget. I purchased a Daikin system for my upper and lower levels and after a year of use I have been thrilled with the systems ease of use, quick cooling and efficient operation. When my extremely old boiler broke down a few weeks before Christmas (in the middle of a cold snap, of course), I needed help I could trust, and quick! Boehm provided excellent service. Jeff Boehm made the time to come by as soon as he could, and within a few hours dropped a handwritten estimate for install on a new boiler on my front porch. Within the week, the whole family crew was out, setting me up with heating that worked far better than before. And when a few of my ancient radiator valves later leaked (they weren't used to have a boiler with real power!), Jeff came out to fix them right away

I called them in the morning because my boiler was slowly dying (and I was slowly freezing), they told me they were super busy so I made backup plans in case they couldn't come out. A few hours later they called back just as I had help on the way, so I cancelled but changed my mind 10 minutes later and asked if they could still come out. Their guy said he was pretty close to my house and would make it his next stop. Reasons to call Boehm: They're skilled, efficient, and don't try to sell you things you don't need. Trustworthy, local, family-owned. Kind of cool that they still know exactly who installed a mid-70s furnace in my home (which they replaced a few years ago, plus added in-floor basement heat and a mini-split AC system).

Boehm installed a new boiler for me 6 years ago, were pleasant and good to work with. I thought it was a nice benefit of working with a small company. However, this year when my system had a problem with not holding pressure I called for service. They told me that there were 15 people without heat ahead of me and they didn't know when they could get out to see me, and definitely not within the week. Then they called the next day and said that they were a small company, and really busy, and that I should call another company, and maybe it was a plumbing problem despite no visible water

We have used Boehm many times over the years. Most recently they installed a mini split A/C unit in our 1908 home with heads up and downstairs. We had received another estimate, but were displeased with where the installer was proposing to install the upstairs head (the proposed location would have resulted in less work for the installer and would have been a very imperfect solution). Boehm came in to look and came up with a brilliant solution, that while more work for them as the installer, gave us what we needed and where we needed it. I could not be more impressed with Boehm. I had a pilot light gas valve start leaking and needed to be replaced. The Xcel Energy gas guy told me exactly what the problem was and what needed to be replaced, so I didn't want to pay $80 - $120 to have a company come out and give me a quote and tell me what was wrong. Several companies were not even willing to quote me without coming out to my house for a fee. The ones that would talk to me and gave me pricing via email/phone ranged from $650 to $1,400. I have some very old converted boilers in an old house. Boehm serviced them for a very reasonable price. One of the boilers developed an issue a month later and Boehm came back out and quickly diagnosed the issue & fixed it for no fee. A lot of HVAC companies don't know much about ancient boiler systems, but Boehm doesn't shy away from them.
These guys are responsive (able to setup appointments usually same week if not the next day), knowledgeable, friendly, very competitively priced -- simply the best HVAC crew in town. I hope Jim and his team keep up the good work for many

After having some work done on a leaky gas line, my 70-year-old boiler was red tagged by Centerpoint Energy for a high carbon monoxide reading (340 ppm). The timing of these events is never good, but this was especially so with the early Nov. temps dropping down to the 20s and me being scheduled for surgery in the next two weeks

The team from Boehm heating is great in all aspects, including honesty, service, and professionalism. I would recommend Boehm to anyone. Another local heating company offering "specials" on cleaning and furnace tune ups that I had a one-year service with did NOTHING but look at my furnace (and AC) and tell me all of the things wrong with it and how much $$ it would cost to fix each part so better to replace and he had even seen other companies red tag a furnace for less.

Once again, Boehm comes through for me! Last year my old, funky furnace needed a new part. At that time, Boehm told me that I would need a new furnace in the next year or two. While I was hoping to get another year out of it, I wasn't so lucky. On a cold Saturday, they got it rigged so I could stay warm until a new one could be installed. Glen provided different options, talked me through the process, and this past Monday he was ready to get the new furnace installed. We bought our house in the early summer. The inspector checked on the boiler and said it was good. We didn't think twice. Fall came, it was a cold morning, and no heat! My husband called Boehm Heating based on a recommendation of a friend, and they walked him through what to check and they fixed it together over the phone. No service call! No fee! I was shocked at that level of customer service, to be honest.
Well, when it came time for maintenance and a quick repair, guess who we called first? That's right. They came the next day, fixed it up, and at a very reasonable price.

We had 3 estimates done for heating & air conditioning on our home & Boehm was the only company who thoroughly explained what was needed & was willing to use some of what was already in place from the old furnace. Not to mention, their bid was considerably lower than the other 2.
The installation process was a few days long & the Boehm crew was courteous & respectful of us, our home & our pets.
