In 1986 Dave Isaacson was given the opportunity, by Dennis 'Hap' Anderson of The Anderson Companies (established in 1963), to expand Hap's business into the Bloomington-Normal area. Upon leaving Davenport, IA with a small crew, Dave Isaacson introduced cast-in-place foundations to established builders in the Bloomington/Peoria/Champaign areas where block basements were the standard in new home construction.
Isaacson Concrete & Excavating was established in 2007, originally known as Isaacson Construction, Inc. which was created more than twenty years ago. Isaacson Concrete & Excavating created a vision statement built on the family's tradition of excellence with the intent to carry the business forward into the future.
Community is the number one value of Isaacson Concrete & Excavating as we receive satisfaction in helping others by using our skills, talents, and financial resources to reach out and make a difference. Our organization takes pride in the time and effort put forth in sponsoring and supporting many events within our community.
ICE is a residential concrete & excavating company specializing in new construction and remodeling whose primary focus is to meet and exceed its customer's expectations. Our participation in the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project in Philo, IL was possible due to the contributions of the following companies; some of which we had long standing relationships and others are now new friends and business allies. Without the expertise and commitment from these businesses and their employees none of this would have been possible.

Knowledgeable employees who take care of both single family homes and commercial new construction services. They do everything from the ground down. Including digging and pouring basements, water line & sump pump installation, driveways, rough and finish grading yards. And they have been in the same location for almost 40 years.

My 3 year old driveway poured by Isaacson is crumbling apart despite sealing it every fall as recommended. I have called numerous times and left messages with no call back to address the issues. My neighbors house and mine were completed at the same time and both are falling apart. They replaced a small section of my neighbors driveway but the rest is still junk. They are crumbling apart even though we don't park on it during the winter. I have spots that have risen an inch that the kids trip on and sinking in other spots. It doesn't surprise me though considering half my driveway
