Update: I just wanted to come back and provide an update. I'm extremely pleased with the efforts the company made to remedy this situation. I did receive my doors, once scheduled, and they look amazing. I feel confident recommending this company after they went about and beyond with their customer service efforts.

Immediate, emergency service. I got my garage door off track and ended up with a door half up, half down. An emergency as my car was inside and not safe. I called another company first, then my mom told me to call O'Brien. The receptionist said tech could be at my place in 3-4 hrs, then called back and said he could be there in 20 minutes. Perfect! Mike the technician came and not only fixed the door and got it back on track but lubricated the moving parts. He fixed the light in my garage, readjusted the sensor, replaced a pad on the back door all while educating me about what he was doing

I usually do not write reviews but this was necessary. I got my garage door fixed about 2 years back from this company. At that time I was told that I would need a new spring for my garage door which would cost me about 600 dollars. I needed to get this fixed so I went ahead and agreed paying upwards of 600 dollars for what I was told was a "new" spring. Fast forward two years, the same spring that was installed split in half. When I called to inquire, it seemed as if there was no concern about how this happened and that they would need to charge me to come out and see what was going

Awesome service! Called for a quote and the technician was out the next day to replace the garage door springs. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and provided all options for replacing the garage door springs, with zero pressure, and the installation was fast!! OBrien will be our new garage door company for all maintenance and repairs!!

Our garage door needed to be replaced and we met with multiple companies. What made us go with O'Brien was the technician (Nick). He arrived on time, answered all my question with an explanation that helped me make the right decision. Don't you hate it when companies try to sell you items you don't want or need? Well I never got that feeling working with Nick. My family am I are 100% satisfied with the installation and the finished garage door is AWWWWWWWWWWWWESOME. If I needed another garage door, I would definitely go with O'Brien again. Unfortunately I only have one

Made an appointment as I was not able to get my garage doors to close properly after a couple trouble shooting tactics. They gave me a courtesy call before arrival and arrived within the window provided. The man was professional and did not upsell me. He replaced my sensors which were faulty. Only got charged the service fee and the sensor replacement. It may not be the cheapest service, but probably in the range of reasonable. Nothing is cheap these days.

The service technician (6'1 bald white guy with a goatee - mid 30's) from the O'Brien Garage Door company located in Loganville, Georgia, called me an "idiot" as he was leaving my home following a disagreement we had about their schedulers failure to disclose service call fees.

Do yourself a favor & DO NOT do business with this company.

Don't listen to Rita B. (sorry Rita), or the other nay sayer's who think their jacked up garage door can be fixed with a "tune-up" and be done (what did you think would happen? A little grease and adjustment is going to fix bent rollers and broken springs?? Really?) They are great and know what they are doing in my experiences with them. FYI, you should get a GD "Tuned-up" every year to keep it humming -- and the coupon is for THAT service. That said, my tech noticed how misaligned one of the overhead rails was on my big GD and where two others companies demurred

Beware of additional charges with your "tune up" and you can toss that coupon

I called O'Brien Garage Doors because I had a Valpak coupon. The technician immediately started to upsell within a few minutes of arriving. He said I needed new rollers and pulleys. He said there is a $39.00 service fee as well as another $99.00 fee (don't recall the name of THAT fee), before the cost of parts. With fees and parts the estimate was over $400.00. I said that I had a 20% off coupon on any service call and he told me that the estimate he gave me included the 20% discount. Oh, OK

Don't use this company unless you have nothing but time. They do not keep their appointments and do not call you to keep you informed. I wasted hours waiting for them to receive a call 10 minutes within the end of my FOUR HOUR window to advise they would try to be here in 1.5 hours. My times worth money and I also FELL For the stupid bait and switch last time for the rollers. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS if you value your money and an honest relationship.

What a great experience! Brandon C. came to my home when we called for the tune-up special. He was professional, prompt and very nice. He did not try to "upsell" anything to me, just completed the job in short order and spent time explaining what he had done. Such a pleasant young man...and my garage doors work like new. Thank you! I willl use O'Briens again!!

Had a terrible experience with this company and wish I had checked them out on Yelp first. Like others, I fell for the bait and switch of the value pack ad in the mail for the $49.99 tune up. To make a long story short, their tech came to my home and determined the springs needed to be adjusted and the rollers needed to be replaced. He quoted me $420 which supposedly included a $60 discount. I thought this was high but since I do not know anything about garage door repair prices, I consented to the repair. It took him about 20 minutes. Also, supposedly, they waived the pre-printed $47.50 service

These guys are scammers - beware and steer clear!

I responded to a value pak coupon for a tune up, on offer for 49.95. The service man (also the service manager) came to my house and proceeded to tell me that i needed all kinds of new hardware: springs, rollers, etc., totalling around $600. He was also able to do the repair later that day if i agreed. I said that this repair was unexpected and needed time to consider. He then very quickly collected the $49.95 for the so-called "service call". Some minutes later he called to offer me the roller installation free if I was ready to do the

I received an advertisement that said that the tune-up special was $49.50. I called to schedule that without any issue. I met the Technician who then tried to sell me on rebuilding my door for $270.00. I said no just the tune-up and when he was done he handed me a bill for $87.00. No one ever mentioned a "service fee" on top of the "special". I felt ashamed that I had been lied to and ripped off so blatantly!

O'Brien serviceman who was dispatched to tune up my garage door was ignorant of what he was here to do. His focus was to sell a new garage door, spring etc. rather than taking care of the issue at hand. Eventually he confessed that because the garage door is installed by a different garage door company, I should call them for repair. He charged me a service call for doing nothing only because he had driven to my house. I do not recommend them at all. Stay away from them and their promotional discounts.
