After replacing the attic Hvac system we began getting leaks. It caused horrendous water damage to my daughters room. Half the ceiling and a wall had to be ripped out due to their mistake. Their manager came and confirmed it was installed improperly. After the fixed it, it happened two more times and the owner basically didn’t care and quit returning our calls. The worst service and incompetent work we have experienced regarding any vender for our home.
After the 3rd time we hired a different hvac company on our dime to repair the water leak. The company said they have had to repair incompetent

I called Martel HVAC in the morning because I had no heat. By the afternoon Dan from Martel was at out house. He checked the furnance and the thermostat. The issue was the thermostat. He replaced it with a new thermostat. The heat is now working great. Dan was very efficient and professional. He explained everything he did and what the cost would be upfront. Thank you for your quick response.

Anthony from Martel made every effort to get to my father's house asap, as his Central Air unit had stopped working and I was very concerned about his health because he's 91 and doesn't tolerate the heat/humidity at all. Anthony made an adjustment that allowed the AC unit to function until it gets replaced this month. The unit is over 20 years old and has definitely seen better days. Each and every time Martel has come out to service my father's heating system, they've done exceptional work. Horrible customer service and they overcharge you the receptionist is the worst person I know for the last 10 years when I call them I need to check on my system she was super rude she said that I have to pay minimum off two hours even if I need five minute service
when the technician came to the location he didn't have the right tools he called the office to make sure they have the tools so he can go back to bring it
she didn't let him and she told him she needs only to check up on the system she's all set
he was there for three minutes at my place and now I have to pay for more

Read a few of the comments, and I see a pattern. I too was told that my old gas boiler was in imminent threat of failure, and needed replacing immediately.
12 grand.
Tech also forgot to switch the gas from "pilot" to "on" after servicing, so there's that.
Called a better plumber, who said they were just trying to sell a system. Gave me a tour of the boiler, explained what the parts did, what happens when they fail, and when they need replacing. And didn't charge for the visit.
Martel is just trying to sell complete systems, not help customers

Martel HVAC had been my company's primary HVAC contractor for several years. During that time they performed routine maintenance, emergency repairs and a cold room installation.
My experience with Tim Martel began when I had him come in to quote a new cold room project. While we were discussing the scope of the project, Tim did not take any notes and told me the project would be no problem. I requested 4 different quotes in different cold room configurations. Tim got back to me with one quote, which included incorrect cold room dimensions and a price that was 50% higher than that quoted

(Martel HVAC & Pivotal are a scam that work together on taking your money)
Told me that I had an old boiler (18-years old) and that it was hard to find parts. Tried to sell me on Pivotal not approving "universal" parts. (The parts listed in my boiler manual where fully available online as the original parts....also, the universal part was made be Honeywell, which makes the original part. it's the same part for the size across other models) Martel told Pivotal that so they would agree with them to suggest that I replace my boiler and lucky me Pivotal would pay $400.....Martel

We had a repair call to Martel by our contract service, Pivotal. It took nearly 5 full days to get heat and hot water back on. Nightmare experience due to a serious lack of integrity and communication. The whole concept of a contract holder (pivotal) managing repairs is an absolute flop. So much for the consumer having control over provider of service. Neither Pivotal not Martel deserve any rating. One star is too much.

Very impressed with the HVAC tech who came to our house tonight.
We have been losing heat on and off for weeks and whenever someone came of course it would start working making it difficult to figure out what was going on. Tonight this young man TYLER worked diligently to figure it out. Excellent job, professional, polite, good guy! Thanks Martel HVAC!!!

I want to highly recommend Martel HVAC!
Anthony is the service manager and he came out to fix our furnace on Xmas Eve early morning since his team was home with their families.
He was professional and according to my husband "knew his stuff". He fixed what needed to be fixed for so we could have Holiday Heat and recommended items that should be addressed after the new year. (His recommendations was things we thought might need to be looked soon prior to this) - Nice when you find someone professional, honest and who cares about his crew.
