Do your homework before using them for a service call, get everything in writing so they can't tack charges you didn't know existed.
I had HB Energy install a mini split a few years ago and I was very happy with the service, their technicians were great and I was pleased with their work.
However..... I called them to do an annual cleaning I was given an appointment time and quoted a rate. I asked if there were additional charges and I was informed that if it took the Tech longer than expected we would be charged for the additional time.
Apparently I didn't ask if they were going

Completed an HVAC installation job that was too complex for my local electrician. I was able to pay for and schedule the installation all on amazon.com. Up front pricing with a satisfaction guarantee. Two electricians arrived, and completed the job on the first visit, at the agreed upon price, no games or gimmicks. They were polite, professional, and competent..Way more knowledgeable than the guy from Dompier Electric in Brattleboro- for example the HB Energy guys knew what a PAM-1 voltage relay way, and how to install it, I didn't have to explain things like that. Terrible Service. Whoever TOM is is very arrogant on the phone and doesn't not care about the customers. I have been without heat for OVER a week. I have been hauling diesel because every time they say they will deliver something always comes up. This last time TOM called to tell me he's sorry, but he misplaced my ticket and I would have to continue hauling diesel again because his driver is gone. He admitted fault but told me in less words its my problem now, not his. he didn't even offer a discount or way of apology for all this time I've been getting rear ended by the company

In response to HB reply to Jane, I am the owner of the house, there reply is absolutely wrong. The hopper caught fire, because of clinkers building up in the pot. After finding the owner's manual online because it was never left with Jane, I found that the stove wasn't properly installed, HB should have gone over certain things on the pellet stove, like having to tighten, the auger chain within a few weeks after install, the tech from HB should have shown Jane how to do this or setup up an appointment to come back and check it. Thank god we were home and I caught the fire before the
