Based in northern Minnesota, we provide complete vegetation management programs for commercial customers in the Midwestern states. We create partnerships that result in long-term savings for our customers and minimize stress to the environment. Our staff includes ISA Certified Arborists with Utility Specialist certification and a TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Specialist.

Founded in 1958, we bring 50 years of experience to every project. We are uniquely qualified to build relationships with the electric utility industry; Lake States Tree Service is a subsidiary of Lake Country Power (an electric cooperative located in northern Minnesota), giving us an understanding of the needs and challenges facing the industry.

We are committed to customers by providing quality services at competitive prices. We are committed to serving the electric utility industry with complete vegetation management right-of-way programs. Lake States Tree Service was founded in 1958 and was family owned for 40 years.
1. Lace Bug: Lace bugs target broad-leaf evergreens such as andromeda, azalea, and rhododendron. Early detection is the key to getting rid of an infestation. Look for yellow-silver stippling on the topsides of leaves. 2. Mites: Mites pose a serious threat to a wide variety of plants, and can seriously impact the visual appearance of a plant.
To avoid malnutrition, be sure to give your trees an adequate amount of micronutrients, such as magnesium sulfate, limestone, gypsum, iron, and zinc. However, trees need very limited amounts of these compounds, and an overabundance can be harmful. Have a certified arborist advise you on the correct amounts of each you should provide.

I contacted Lake States Tree service for kind of an odd job... cutting up a big section of spruce into smaller sections. They got back to me right away. Dennis is the one who actually came out to site and did the trimming-- he was wonderful! Very professional and courteous. Thank you!

Very displeased their big tree cutter machine came through and ripped up the bridge to my boat landing I have talked to them I have called their main office and was told someone would get ahold of me I have yet to hear anything and it has not been fixed very disrespectful and uncaring of others property

Over the past 30 years we've had many many tree services in our yard. We have a big Minkota power line in our back yard! Every so often guys are sent up to remove/trim tree for them. This year these guys sent up did the best job ever. We were extremely satisfied with the work and how they took so much pride in everything they did, hats off to them! I recommend this Company!! These guys that came to Baudette this year need to be commended!!!!!
