You must hire a licensed plumber to correct any code violations relating to your gas piping, water heater vent, etc. The plumber must fill your gas piping with air and call for inspection. The city plumbing inspector must leave a green tag and notify the gas company that your property is ready. The person who pays the gas bills must call the gas company and ask them to send a technician to turn on the gas (1-800-700-2443).

Sorry for the long review. My extended family had been working with Lister since day one, but maybe not exclusively. So we moved back to Galveston a few years ago and it turns out that Lister stays busy and it can be tough to get on their schedule. With February's freeze, we knew it would be hopeless so we found a handyman to get fixed up. No problem. Then, the big thing happened...hot water heater started to leak. Tried to use them basis reviews that they were fast and good. Put in work order at 7 AM two days ago for repair of leaking faucet at our family vacation place on Galveston. Was told will get call back shortly. Got call back late yesterday evening no one could come yesterday. Called again today see if someone was coming out and was told no way anyone would be able to come out. So moving on to someone else who might be able to get the job done. (OK so got call from Lister Plumbing they did not like my review so I will amend it for them. I called yesterday at 7 AM put in a work order for a leaking

I am a manager at industrial facility here in Galveston, and i have been using these guy's for years. if you need anything closely related to plumbing, water works, or want some new installation...they got you! Their crew that comes out is great. i think i have had all of them one time or another come to my facility, they are good! Call them!
