Eichler Lumber
Always providing the best selection for homeowner's or builder's needs in hardware, building materials, and lumber. Whether you are building a small room addition, or a whole house or deck, call or come in to EICHLER LUMBER! The original site of Eichler Lumber was on 65 HWY halfway between Lincoln and Warsaw, Missouri.

While starting out as Eichler Home Improvement Company and in the steel siding business, Buddy Eichler decided there was a need for a full service Lumber Company in Benton County. Along with the steel siding business and a hands on knowledge of construction, Buddy and Dorothy Eichler, along with store manager Rick Lewis, helped many lake cabin owners and local residents when it came to repairs and remodeling projects.

Their oldest son Buddy Paul Eichler Jr. joined the staff at the age of 11, learning from his father. Buddy and Dorothy's son, Randy Alan Eichler joined the team carrying on a family tradition of service and quality products when Eichler Furniture opened at 7 HWY and Truman Dam Rd. in Warsaw in 2001.

They are very helpful when you have questions and suggest what would do best regarding those things

They have most of the things you need which saves making a trip to the city. Also, they know their business. At the box stores the young guys "just work there" and often give the wrong advice. At Eichler's they know what they're talking about.

It's nice. Has pretty much what you need. I still choose orchelins over here. But it's nice to have variety.

It is always nice doing business with them. It's great to talk to people that know what they sell unlike large chain hardware stores.

Eichler Lumber has been doing business in Benton County for more years than I can remember. I have built 3 houses using quality products from Eichler. This is a family owned business, the people behind the counter, are as polite as the yard crew. The owner is a hard working man, not afraid to get his own hands dirty.

With building material shortages hitting the industry, on a hunch I called them and they had what I needed! They were able to hold the materials until I drove the two hours to Warsaw. Got what I needed and back on the road in less than 10 minutes! Super friendly and helpful staff!

Our family is building a waterfront home here and we stopped in to inquire about a few things as we needed a local store to purchase all of our materials. We try to support family owned businesses as much as possible. The man who helped us was extremely rude and acted as though he was better than everyone else. We decided not to purchase our supplies at this store and drove an hour to Sedalia Lowe’s. That day, we were speaking with our neighbor, who also built his own waterfront home, regarding our experience with this man. We found out that the man behind the counter is married to the owners

I just wanted to say thank you to the man that helped me today, I didn't catch his name but he was a huge help. Every time I come in there you guys surprise me with your knowledge and know how and for that I give you 4 stars. (It would have been 5 but sometimes you're a little pricey) Keep up the good work!

I have always had many problems with this lumberyard. Their customer service is absolutely terrible, they are rude, and not helpful at all. I thought that was because we were just DIY people. But, for this job, we hired a contractor who had to pick up a piece of plywood he says he can get in Sedalia for $12, but Eichler charged him $24. The contractor also says that when he can, he avoids this lumberyard every time, but was in a pinch today.

Two days in a row, Eichler hit home runs.
Yesterday at the checkout an item rang up for more than was listed on the box. The clerk, without my prompting, asked the manager if she could reduce it to the price on the box. Saved me $10 without hesitation!
Today was the real winner. Fixing a septic line. The manager stopped what he was doing and asked me if I needed help. I said, "Probably". He then spent 20 minutes with me and even went out to my truck to look at the old configuration to make sure we got a match for all the connections. I got home, and everything fit PERFECTLY! One trip! That never
