Steve founded New Life Contracting in 1998 and guides the strategic direction of the company. He has 25 years of experience in the construction business, including working a sub-contractor for larger construction companies. Steve was born and raised in Cambridge, Minnesota. 2. How long will it take for an adjuster to inspect my home? Typically, an adjuster will call within 24 to 48 hours to schedule a date and time to inspect the storm damage. The actual meeting could be a dew days out of 1-2 weeks after the initial call is made. It's important you let the New Life Contracting representative you're working with know once the appointment is scheduled or if the schedule time changes.
Homeowner should call the insurance company claim center to get the process started. We can meet with you to contact the insurance company together to provide you with knowledge you'll need to complete the insurance claim. Most insurers have a 24 hour claim center to handle this process. Most insurance checks will have your mortgage company listed on them.

Our New Life contractor, Zach, was very responsive and dedicated to, not just getting the job done, but getting it done right and getting the right coverage from our insurance company. When the insurance company kept delaying, requesting more pictures and even initially denying there was proof of damage, Zach jumped in and worked closely with a variety of adjusters to ensure the full coverage cost was provided. Zach even went back to the original lifetime shingles we had and convinced the insurance company that they needed to base the estimate on 50 year shingles rather that the 30 year shingles

We had a new roof siding and gutters put on our house. We worked with Zach H and his communication was great the entire time from the first day I met him to the day everything was complete. Our roof siding and gutters were replaced due to hail damage. Zach did all the foot work with our insurance company and explained the whole process to us throughout the whole time. Because of the unique color of our house, we struggled with the shingle color. When I lamented to the woman who runs the office, she offered a sympathetic ear and kind tone, and encouraged us to take our time and not rush the decision. Along with a variety of samples, Ricky went out of his way to find addresses of existing homes so that we could see actual roofs to narrow down the options. We were very pleased with the way New Life Contracting took care of our claim following the storm damage we suffered this summer. From the very beginning, Zach was working on our behalf to satisfy our concerns with the replacement of our roof, screens, gutters and downspouts. He clearly explained the claims process and developed a good working relationship with our insurance adjuster to make sure the claim was processed accurately and expeditiously.
