We hired Gary to rebuild two decks and a chimney. The job lasted way past the promised completion date. Less than six months later, both decks leaked. There was a massive failure in the install. Gary took several months during the spring and summer to identify the issue ... then agreed to “fix” the problem under warranty. It required the complete disassembly of both decks and that job also took weeks longer than promised. He’s full of excuses. Fact is, he can’t control his subs (warranty work delayed because they didn’t order enough material and his contractors wouldn’t work in the

We purchased a 20-year old home on a lot we loved, but knew the house needed quite a bit of work before we could move in. Our project required totally gutting and expanding the kitchen and master bathroom, removing walls, installing new support beams, lifting the ceiling, replacing floors, and constructing a two-room addition, plus minor repairs and cosmetic attention.

Gary Palmer and the whole team at Palmer Custom Builders were great to work with. I personally loved that the owner of the firm is the project manager, contractor, main point of contact, etc. ... Gary is completely vested in the project from start to finish, sun-up to sun-down! Gary and his wife, Pam, designed the kitchen layout and saw something that neither us nor another large design firm didn't see - a way to have an eat-in-kitchen AND an island which made our 1975 kitchen update to be a very current and on-point layout for today's living adding instant value to our home.

I worked with Gary last year to open up my 60s ranch home and covert my screened in porch into livable space. He and his crew did a fantastic job opening the space up to give my home the truly 'open concept' feel.
