You pretty much have to beg them to take your money. No call backs, no email backs, no answers. We got a quote last December for 568 and they came in July and for the same job gave us a quote for 2100. Their reasoning was their vendors raised their prices. By three times? Took me 7 months just to get someone out here after calling several times. Too bad. Very unprofessional

Gary Eagan is the guy for your project. He has been in the business for years. This is the 3rd project I have done with him and have always been pleased. He is thorough, explains the timeline and project in detail, and understands the many different projects and surfaces out there! We went with Quartz for our kitchen remodel and are so pleased. I had some personal issues with the installers but he handled it getting me in touch with the right people to answer my questions. The appliances fit in perfectly with minimal gaps as the measurements were exact. Thank you for helping me everytime

Super friendly and knowledgable staff (Gary, Rudy and Gonzalo)! I had a 98in x 25in x 1.5in single piece of walnut butcher block that needed to be fabricated.
I coordinated day/time, showed up with material, precise measurements and left with three custom cut pieces of material!
Not to mention, two extra scrap pieces that we will turn into actual butcher block cutting boards!

Medium version : Bad customer service, bad measurements by Formatop person, terrible at listening to what you want and offering you options, wrong excuses to not deliver what they agreed upon with you, not great workmanship, OK installers, great sink integration (Karan sink). This is for a travertine Formica laminate installation by Formatop, contracted through Home Depot.
Longer version: Very deceived by the overall thing. My wife

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Worst service and no return calls after promising installation dates! Shante is rude and unprofessional! No wonder Home Depot has gone down hill so dramatically! Using suppliers like this makes them look as incompetent as Formatop does! Too bad I have to give them 1 star.

Where do we start? This company is tantamount to the most poor, inadequate, and unprofessional work I have ever seen. We had a small kitchen renovation for countertops to be installed, through home depot. Here we go...
1) Formatop was supposed to have our countertops out of "production" by June 3rd and installed by June 10th. It is now June 18th, and just yesterday we received a terribly incorrect installation of our countertops.
2) The company called us the day before they were "supposed to" (read, LATE) install countertops, to tell us that the sink we ordered through them

I had Formatop remodel my kitchen. I am so happy with the results. With remodels I have done in the past, it is never an easy process. Although Formatop made my life much easier. Tyler, my designer, was very hands on. I was Always able to reach him via email or by phone and get the answers i needed. They were prompt with coming out and taking correct measurements that unfortunately my contractor failed at. Once the order was finalized I was kept updated on the manufacturing and eta. I always like to meet who I'm working with on projects so I stopped by the shop. Tyler took the time to walk me through and explain the various counter top options as he pulled out tops with this and that feature.
We discussed what I was trying to do and he suggested several approaches to make it work. Back at home I emailed him a PDF of the measurements and details. Approvals were emailed back and forth and two weeks later I picked up my top.
All-in-all an easy experience, I'm very happy with the result and I'll go to them next time I need a laminate counter top.

I had this company install a kitchen countertop, couple of years later it developed a crack. I contacted Formatop and basically they said they were not responsible. I had to contact the Corian representative for the US and sent him pictures describing the crack. He said it was due to the installation and he directed me to another installation company who came in and repaired the countertop flawlessly.
Thank God Corian gives a 10 year guarantee on their products or I would have been screwed.

We used formatop for a reverse miter cut on our new laminate countertops and to add the miter bolt slots. Tyler helped us. We got our counter tops back the following afternoon with a nice, clean cut. He gave my husband a little installation advice and a stronger set of bolts to use. Overall, we used them for a small project, but had a very good experience.

I went to formtop because i wanted to get new counter tops in my new house. i must say i love how my kitchen looks the installs worked hard and did a great job!!!!!!!!!
tyler was the man i worked with and he is really good and caring with ideas and helping me get this done. i must say this is the place to go for new counter tops and cabinets. this shop is full with nice and respected people . i give a 5 star to formatop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a bad experience working with both the salesperson Tyler and the owner Gary. Tyler was charming but incompetent, Gary, instead of trying the right the problems, chose to cancel my job.
On a good note, I did receive my deposit back. Luckily, I picked it up instead of waiting for them to mail it, because it was still in house, addressed to the wrong place.

Formatop was the Corian supplier our contractor chose to go with, possibly his only horrible decision in the entire project. We had our kitchen counters and floor replaced a few other changes. Formatop was consistently lackluster. We had to pay half up front because they said we had selected a popular color and it would take extra time to acquire it. Fine.

Avoid this company! Our family has had a recent experience with them, it was all bad. Many years ago (20+) we used them with great success and
decided to use them again - it was a huge mistake! They were unreliable, impolite and do not stand behind their work. Word of mouth is that they now have Home Depot's business, so they don't need little customer. Nov.2007
