CPR Plumbing is a family owned and operated corporation. We opened our doors in 2003. William Craig Cooper started the company with just 1 plumber in the field, and has since expanded to 3 crews. Our company staffs a Master Licensed Plumber, 3 Journeyman Plumbers and 3 Plumbing Apprentices with a combined experience of over 120 years.
Our plumbers are specially trained to locate leaks within and under the slab without chipping or breaking out the concrete. We are often assigned "Full" Plumbing tests for foundation claims, that include testing all of the plumbing in and on the slab level of the home. We use Static Pressure testing to locate and isolate leaks on drains and sewer systems.
While it is true that leaks are more common in older properties, newer properties have problems too. Poor construction, soil conditions, severe climates, and in many cases, ground movement can cause unexpected pipe damage at any time. If undetected, the problem threatens property and makes repairs more costly.
When a plumbing failure occurs under the slab, rather than cut through the foundation, CPR Plumbing performs the repairs by 'tunneling' under the foundation. By using this procedure, your foundation is left un-touched, you suffer minimal inconvenience, and your lifestyle is not disrupted. After the repairs are completed, and all testing/inspections have been performed, the tunnels are backfilled with slurry.
When a water leaks within the foundation, we are able to access the manifolds in the walls to isolate both ends of the leaking water line. We cap off each end so it is an abandoned line. It is not recommended to ever patch a copper water line in the slab. If the line is leaking, this means that the copper is having problems and will likely leak again on the same line at some point in the future.
