From the start, owner Don Long, told us what to expect from his company. The process itself took about ten months. But, we soon discovered that this was not unusual for post hurricane repairs.

I recommend DSL construction. I used them to repair my home due to a bursted pipe during the winter storm. The gentlemen I worked with were professional, were always there to answer any questions I had, and kept me informed throughout the process. We hired DSL to build our custom home on our own lot. They made the process as easy as possible and were very responsive. Repaired roof deck damage from water leaks and replaced entire roof system. Price was competitive. DSL treats clients property as if it were theirs. Corrected builder mistakes from original construction. Cleaned up work area daily, picked up nails, swept and cleaned worksite before leaving. Work was inspected and certificate included at job conclusion.
Excellent communication, excellent service. It is good to hire contractors you do not have to worry about quality or workmanship. DSL is that company.

Don and his team recently completed a 5 month renovation of our home, including a complete kitchen remodel and a master bath remodel. From start to finish, his team was professional and extremely helpful throughout the process. Our home was impacted by hurricane Harvey in the form of a 60 year old pine tree that blew over and smashed our garage (including the mini van inside) and clipped the roof of the house above the kitchen. Water rained in while we struggled to catch the water in a collections of plastic bins to limit the damage. In the aftermath some friends recommended Don Long and DSL construction after working with them during the tax day flood the year before.
