North American Lighting
Our vision is to dramatically improve roadway safety by developing innovative lighting technologies that enhance driver vision and response time. We are a team continuously working to bring our vision to light. Today we kicked off Manufacturing Month with a virtual discussion about the future of automotive and manufacturing technology, featuring our Head of Innovation, Amit Mehta, and Innovation Manager, Dan Davies!

We were pleased to host several high school freshmen classrooms from Indiana, Illinois and Alabama. Thank you to all those who participated and for the great questions! NAL is celebrating Manufacturing Month by welcoming new manufacturers to our team! Check out the open interview schedule pictured below and drop by during the designated times to speak with HR about Assembly Operator openings (Salem Plant will call applicants).

North American Lighting (NAL) is a member of the Japan-based Koito Group of companies and has been manufacturing automotive lighting systems for vehicle manufacturers since 1983. Today, we are the largest lighting supplier to automotive OEMs in North America.
Welcome to Mobility Now, the podcast that looks at mobility technology sitting at the edge of today but the center of tomorrow. Autonomous vehicles and other mobility technologies have the potential to reduce road fatalities, reduce congestion, and change the way we experience traveling. Mobility Now interviews key players from startups and industry leaders developing these mobility technologies.
At CES 2020, Koito will exhibit new technologies that revolutionize the role lighting plays in automotive safety, with demonstrations including dual view machine vision, Blade Scan ADB, communication lamps, sensor module, smart street lights, and an open innovation exhibition.
At CES 2018, Koito exhibited new technologies that revolutionize the role lighting plays in automotive safety, with demonstrations including Adaptive Driving Beam technology, a sensor-integrated headlight, communication lamp, and smart infrastructure systems. This year, Koito showcased further developments in lighting technology that will drive the mobility ecosystem towards the future.
LEDs' bright white light, energy efficiency and long life make them ideal for modern automotive applications. So it's no surprise LED lighting systems are NAL's fastest growing product segment. ADB (adaptive driving beam) uses integrated cameras and sensors to scan the road ahead, dynamically raising, lowering and redirecting light output.
