Rafael and his team were wonderful to work with. They painted the entire first floor of our house and repaired plaster for us. We cannot believe how good the house looks! Rafael was great to work with and his team was prompt, thorough, and great to have in our home. His quote was detailed and fair and the project came out right on budget. Really the best experience you could ask for and we would definitely recommend this business.

I found Rafael through reviews on Yelp and couldn't have been happier with how the whole project went. I had just purchased a fixer upper and was in desperate need of help with installing and plastering a ceiling and a whole apartment paint job. I interviewed 5 other painters before I hired Rafael. From his initial visit and thorough explanation of what he would do, to the completion of the job, he exceeded what he said he would do. The house is large with much scraping, sanding, power washing and some carpentry work required. His prep work was outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. Each of his crew were hard workers and paid attention to details of the house.
If I had a second home I would hire him immediately. He and his crew were great to work with. Our house looks totally different.

Rafael and his team did a great job with our ceiling repair. He was able to seamlessly match the textured ceiling after replacing the blue boards. His price was fair and he left the work site immaculate. It was a pleasure dealing with Metropolitan Plastering & Painting and we would not hesitate to use them again.

Rafael was recommended to us by some neighbors, and we’re so thankful that he was. He ended up replacing the crumbling plaster ceilings in three of our bedrooms and in a tight stairwell, and the craftmanship was top notch.
But that was just a piece of it. As other reviewers have said, Rafael was friendly, professional, punctual, communicative, and overall a pleasure to deal with. He came out for an estimate the very day that we reached out to him, and was able to get us scheduled quickly. Next time we have any painting or plastering needs, we’ll be shooting a text off to Rafael without a doubt
