Quartz surfaces combine the strength and beauty of natural quartz with technology to create a plethora of different colors with consistency, tone, and strength. These surfaces are made from natural quartz but are man-made products to bring you a natural look with added toughness that, on average, is 4-5 times stronger than natural stone.
Soapstone is a beautiful alternative to Granite. It is quarried, just like Granite. The name Soapstone comes from the soft feel of the stone, similar to a dry bar of soap. Soapstone is chemically inert, resistant to heat, and very durable. These qualities, combined with its beauty and ease of care, have made it the countertop of choice for many gourmet chefs and kitchen designers.
If your home improvement project requires a smaller piece of Granite, quartzite, or other natural stone, Natural Stone Plus Inc. has you covered. Remnants are small pieces of stone left over from larger projects that you can buy. Stone Remnants are perfect for small projects, such as vanities, bar tops, mantles, shower stalls, whirlpool surrounds, desks, and more.
In order to keep your natural stone countertops looking beautiful forever, a little bit of maintenance is required. Day to day cleaning of your counters can be done using water, and mild soap and blot spills as soon as they happen. Your granite or marble will need to be sealed periodically. If you have a lighter granite, we recommend using a product like DuPont Bulletproof sealer once a year.

We hired this company to install a small slab of soap stone. They came right away, measured and installed. (November 2020) When the installers left they put a sealant on the surface which left a large cloudy spot that looks like it needs to be cleaned- all the time but never comes up. We had a different back splash at the time but quickly decided it would look better with matching soap stone. We went back in after the holidays in January to see what they could do about the blemished surface and add a back splash. We asked for two quotes (offered to spend more money) 1) to fix the blemish and add

The countertops they installed in our Kitchen and Bathroom look great but after a year the bathroom sink cracked. We went to them for the repair but were told they are too busy for a small job like that and to go somewhere else. I couldn't believe it even though we were fairly recent customers they would not help us. Please shop somewhere else.
