Our water heater tank broke and was flooding our garage in the middle of the night. It was the worst timing especially since I had a party planned for the next night. We had tried making an appointment with another company but they were not being responsive so I decided to reach out to others the next morning and luckily Reed Plumbing was the first on my list. From the beginning they were responsive, asked for pictures of the tank, provided estimates right away and answered all of my questions. They were not pushy and they were so understanding of the urgency. They rearranged some of the appointments

We had an emergency plumbing situation come up yesterday and the first two places I called couldn't come until Monday (4 days!)... so I started down the line and found Reed Plumbing - and I'm so glad I did!! I talked to Marco and he was kind and helpful, and even though he was getting ready to head out on a trip he talked with his guys and told me they would come by this morning! These two were nice, professional, fast and honest - what I thought was going to be a couple grand was $500, including replacing a completely rusted out pipe. I would definitely recommend!

4 1/2 stars rounded up. In this day and age where plumbers like Barnett and others in LIvermore, routinely ask for $4-$600 or more per man / hour, Reed plumbing was downright reasonable. They tried to fit us in on short notice and did. Plumbed in 4 sinks into newly installed countertops. Two of the sinks had tiny leaks, one because of the plastic drain pipe is hard to tighten around just right. They came back first thing in the AM, fixed one and came again a day later for a third time for the hard to fix plastic drain pipe. They lost half a star for not wearing booties on the carpeting automatically

Really great experience. Smooth and easy process, very responsive (called 4p, done next day), very friendly, called with updates about when they would arrive. Friendly. Wore masks. Fast, efficient and professional service. I used them for a water heater replacement. Extremely good price on the service, and they took care of the warranty claim on my original one. Will absolutely call them the next time I have plumbing needs.

I would give them 10 stars if I could I just got out of the hospital and my toilet got plugged I called everybody everybody was busy it was 2 o'clock on a Wednesday I thought I was going to have to rent a hotel room for the night because the closest I get was the next day and I only have one toilet in my apartment I called a bunch of plumbers one other plumber said that maybe he could come by after hours at 8:30 and he was going to charge me three $50-$400 an hour depending how it took so I called re-plumbing and I can't remember the lady's name she was a very nice lady and she says

Tough one! Holiday weekend and we had water coming from our ceiling and down the wall. I knew it wasn't roof -- but we shut down our upstairs bath until we could get a plumber out on Tuesday.
Marco Vargas and his co-worker from REED Plumbing Company in Livermore came out at 8:30 am. By 9:30 am they had located the leak (a mouse had chewed through some flex tubing going to the upstairs bathroom. By 10:30 they had fixed the leak. Very respectful, absolutely knew what he was doing and looking for and you can't appreciate that kind of knowledgeable work enough.

I had water coming from the ceiling of the master bath. It was Friday night at 6 pm and I called Marco at Reed Plumbing. He was cordial and said he could be there in 30 minutes although I think he was on his way home. World class service and very reasonable pricing considering it was an emergency. Main water line had sprung a leak. Marco saved me from major water damage or having to shut my water off for the whole weekend. Don't bother calling anyone else for Plumbing except Marco at Reed Plumbing. Thanks again Marco

Used these guys on the advice of a contractor friend. Needed someone to install a gas line to our washer/dryer room in our house, built in 1977. They got it done in less than 2 hours and went out of their way to clean up, make the inlet look nice, re-lit our pilot lights, and even installed the clothes drier FOR me! All of this for $200 less than they quoted to just do the line. Marco and Pepe were polite, efficient, and knowledgeable.

15 years ago I called Reed Plumbing randomly to be part of a large remodel we did.
David Reed showed up, introduced himself, shook my hand and told me we would never need to call another plumber. He was right. We used Reed Plumbing on many occasions over the years. Responsive, professional and fair are all accurate descriptions.
More importantly we need to add trustworthy. Marco Vargas handled all our service needs. He is the only contractor we ever worked with that had full access to our home when we were not home. He is the best of the best.

I have a rental and the valve in the shower in the shower/bathtub unit was broken and needed to be replaced. Marco answered and said his crew was busy Thursday, but he can send someone the next day. I had a tight schedule.... and asked for an early morning slot. He re-arranged his people schedule. and we text and called to which allow me to communicate with the tenants of when they would arrive and to gain access to the house. Two of his workers came and they were very professional. One was his brother Jose. They estimated about 1.5 hours to do the job including get the parts.

Very, very happy with the repair work done today. Had water leaking from the upstairs shower to the ceiling downstairs. Had visions of a major $$$ repair. But these guys quickly figured out where exactly the leak was at and fixed it (the pipe in the wall between the shower valve and shower head, they showed me the leak so that I could see it for myself).
They were friendly, told me what they were doing at every step and answered my questions.
They were very professional, they figured out the problem quickly and repaired it quickly. They charged about half of what I feared it was originally going

Marco and Pepe were on time and very professional. Explained what needed to be done and were friendly and courteous. Although we didn't expect it at all, we thought it was nice that they put on shoe covers every time they went into the house, even though i'm sure it was a hassle. Thank you for fixing our clogs!!

We had the faucet in the front yard replaced few months ago. We hardly used it (perhaps a total of 20 times because we have an automatic sprinkler system). We were always very gentle with it and yesterday the faucet started leaking. I called to have it repaired and they said it'll be next week at the earliest. I called again to ask for how long their work is guaranteed. I have not gotten a call back. Very disappointed
