We got a referral to Proper Home Improvement to do so work on our vacation rental property. They were able to schedule the work for a time that work with our booking calendar and completed everything on time. The work included installing shower tile, including waterproof backer board, a new faucet and shower head. The tile looks great and is a huge update to the bathroom and shower/tub area. In addition, they installed a vent/exhaust fan.

We moved into our 40 year old home in the spring and knew immediately that we wanted to renovate the main level and loft. Our project involved removing everything down to the studs and starting from scratch. After getting bids from a handful of companies, we chose Proper Home Improvement for our renovation. Taylor has done 3 remodel jobs for us< all have turned out just as we wanted. He has the ability to visulize what I have in mind. His est. are as he quotes, his prices fair< does a great job cleaning up when he finishes. the last job was just completed( redo of small bath), tile etc. Very pleased. would recommend highly.

Not sure how cnscafe is identifying me, Cyberspace glitches I guess...Anyway, this review is from the Nelson's in Merrifield. Taylor with Proper Home Improvements just finished up a deck project for us and we couldn't be more pleased. The deck and steps look fantastic!! Taylor paid attention to detail and found flaws with the original construction from10 years ago. We appreciate him pointing them out to us so they could be corrected instead of a "bandaid" approach. Taylor's listening and communication skills are AAA+. He communicated with us often so we knew his timeline and schedule with our project

I had a small bathroom remodel project I needed done. I came across Proper Home Improvement in one of the local Sunday shopper ads I receive. Taylor came to my house and gave me a very reasonable estimate. We agreed on a start date and Taylor arrived promptly at the agreed on date. His work was impeccable and all work was done with the utmost quality and professionalism. He laid down paper to protect the carpet from any stains or debris. He cleaned up all the mess prior to leaving. I would highly recommend Taylor for your home improvement needs, very nice guy!

I have used Proper Home Remodeling for two major projects. 1. Window replacement. Taylor searched and found for me the best quality windows at the best price. The results were outstanding and added great value to our home. 2. Basement finished to a fabulous family room. Taylor did the framing, electrical, sheet rocking and added the finishing touches of doors and cabinets. Taylor always cleaned up after the days work and left the work area safe. Proper Home Improvement recently completed a reflooring project in our basement. Taylor was easy to work with, and listened to our desires for the outcome. I also appreciated that he also gave great advice along the way so we could make the final decisions. The outcome was fantastic! The floor is perfect.
