Not only was she patient and gracious, but full of information and tips for "do it myself" installation.
Two weeks later when I returned with additional questions about the awesome bargains I had purchased, everyone was attentive, prompt, and helpful. Finally, when I had an issue that no one else could solve, it was Jessica to my rescue! Mahalo Jessica! I can't wait to shop with you again! Less than satisfactory customer service. Cullen was our sales associate. He took my phone number and was going to call to see if we could get a second lamp delivered from the manufacture quickly. I never heard back from him again, so I revisited the store to follow up a couple days later. Then, I picked up five items I purchased from the store which were wrapped and put in to a box. I returned to my home (other side of island) where my contractor was waiting to install the lamp only to find that the lamp was never put in the box. If I am buying luxury items at a luxury shop I expect them to provide

Doc approached me upon entering offering assistance. He was very helpful with selecting lampshades offering opinions, measurements, trying on lamp etc... and let me take them home for a few days to try out without purchasing which was great! They work & hubby likes too! Called Doc today to purchase over the phone.

My rating is for both Read Lighting and JOE ACOSTA.. There are always two greeters at the door--Joe Acosta and another gentleman in glasses. They are a wonderful welcome wagon and definitely show they are COVID-19 prepared.

This beautiful place is literally a beacon of light, but also metaphorically so. I spent hours on the internet researching a lighting problem and got nowhere. Jessica could tell the make of my light by a mere picture, and solved the problem in just a couple of minutes, while giving me a better education than anything I found on google...and I'm very good at googling. I wish I had gone here first because assuming I was alone in my struggle. I can't remember the last time I was served this well.

We've been loyal customers of Read Lighting for over 20 years and our entire property is filled with their light fixtures, wall outlets, ceiling fans, lamps, lamp shades, piano lamps, specialty light bulbs, pathway lighting, Lutron special order, whatever. Read provides excellent & caring staff, including lamp repair. Reinhardt has been taking wonderful care of us for 20 years! Many of our purchases have been special order and Read receives fast service from most US mainland suppliers. Couple weeks, usually. We miss Jim's snooker table in the entrance area, that's our only complaint

Without question the best lighting showroom in Hawaii. As an Oahu contractor I worked with many lighting showrooms on Oahu until finding Read Lighting on Maui. They are not only professional with fast and knowledgeable customer service but they have a wide range of things in stock, something you never see in Hawaii. Jessica is beyond helpful and has a an awesome design eye. I would never go to another lighting showroom.

This month we went to Read Lighting to look for bathroom fixtures along with some fluorescent lightbulbs. Emily helped us. She was absolutely great! Very knowledgeable and friendly and bent over backwards for us. This store has an excellent selection of lighting fixtures and was very professional. We will definitely be back!
