I'm guessing the 5 star reviews here are internal or they know nothing about drywall and what it should cost. I had Matt come do a quote for me for a 425 SQ foot basement ceiling. Matt quoted me at $2732.75. That is $5.75 per square foot plus an additional $489 for other bs fees like masking off and "blending" into existing ceiling texture. No wonder he was the only one available to get our ceiling drywall and taped in the next month. Matt is arrogant, smug, and tries to take advantage of people. I went with someone else and got it done for around $1000.

I don't write reviews unless I have had a great experience. No business is perfect, but my experience with Matt and his team have been top notch. I have used Matt for years on multiple projects and he has exceeded my expectations every time. For me, getting projects done on time is a must, and I am willing to pay for that. But time/money is only one consideration. The quality of the work is above what I have used elsewhere, and when there have been issues, they were resolved promptly. If you are considering a contractor for work on your project, use Matt.

Matt, Jeff and team did excellent work on a recent job to repair water damage and cracks in our 1920 house, which included the use of fiberglass mesh to entirely cover several plaster walls and ceilings to prevent the recurrence of cracks. They also provided a number of helpful hints re. priming and painting of the freshly repaired surfaces. The quality of the work (incl. prep) was very high, but since we did not consider any other bids we cannot comment with much authority on the price we paid, although it seemed reasonable.
