Cabinet Refinishing Center
At the Cabinet Refinishing Center we RESTORE Stained, Painted & Pickled Cabinetry with an affordable & proven dust free process. Cabinet refinishing is in my blood. My father was a home builder. He started training me in wood refinishing back in 1964. Since then I've seen a lot of changes in the cabinet restoration business.

However, I've never seen anything quite like this. I am now able to restore kitchen and bath cabinetry with no mess and in a quarter of the time resulting in a fraction of the cost. It's simply astounding!. Listen as Jim, owner of Cabinet Refinishing Center, describes his unique cabinet restoration process on KWTO's Secrets of Success.

Workers called day before scheduled work to verify schedule- work performed professionally with no hitches. Work space kept clean & orderly when workers left. Jim, the Gleam Guard Cabinet Refinishing employee, was very professional. When the job was finished, I could hardly recognize our cabinets - the job was done that well!
Services
Cabinet Refinishing Center was established in the Branson/Springfield region in 2005 by Jim Urban. We use an economical, dust-free, and environmentally safe restoration process invented by Tracy Booth of Gleam Guard International in Tulsa, Oklahoma to permanently restore the beauty of your woodwork!
Our process works well with all traditionally stained finishes as well as custom-matched pickled, glazed, whitewashed and painted surfaces. Just like fine furniture craftsman of bygone days, we use cloths for our finish application. They help to avoid runs and eliminate brush marks, overspray, or fog in your house.
Most of Our "Kitchen Restorations" cost a fraction (1/3 to 1/2) of most commercial painting quotes. Refacing costs bout 40% of the cost of new cabinets. You can still keep your sink and countertops. Refacing involves applying a thin sheet of wood (nearly any kind or color) over the outside of your cabinets.
At the Cabinet Refinishing Center we receive a lot of questions because of our innovative process for dust free refinishing. If you have a question that is not answered below, please send us a message and we will answer your questions. Our experienced team can be in and out in just a couple of days, but one day is not an uncommon time frame for smaller kitchens.
DO NOT use abrasive cleansers, strong soaps, wax-based products, lemon oils, citrus oils or oil/oil-based soaps such as Murphy's, Liquid Gold, Old English. Your wood is protected by its original finish and strengthened by ours. For paneling, baseboards, doors and door frames, wipe off yearly with the same solution as cabinets.

Couldn't be happier with the job that Tim did to our cabinets. He make them look 100 times better. Great option to rejuvenate your cabinets, and bring the shine and greatness as they were brand new!

In a world where contractors and professionals promise the world and deliver very little, this experience was something completely out of the ordinary. Not only did he do a fantastic job, but the craftsmanship and quality/attention to detail was amazing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Mr. Urban did a wonderful job on our kitchen cabinets. He completed the project on time and with no mess. The cabinets are 16 years old, but look new now. We are very pleased.
