Leo came to look at our yard late last summer. It was very uneven, with lots of stumps having been removed and brush cleared. The yard needed to be graded and several inches of good soil brought in to be able to seed a lawn over sandy soil, which Leo agreed to. We also had a 9' wide strip along the edge that needed to be brought up with fill dirt, which Leo agreed to do.
He emailed us a bid, which was more money than the other bid I got, but I thought it would be worth it to pay up for Leo's services, since he'd agreed to bring in more dirt than the other bidder and an acquaintance had recommended
