House of Joy was created out of a culmination of years of design experience. Joyce followed her dream of opening her own design studio in 2017 after an extensive career selling luxury real estate. Being a visionary, I witnessed many of my loyal clients in need of creative direction and transitional design services when buying, selling, or renovating their homes.

Joyce is wonderful! To begin with, she answered our initial call within 10 minutes. She has walked us through every aspect of our kitchen + remodel. We used House of Joy to help us remodel our house this summer (2021). Joyce has a great sense of style. She knew exactly what I was looking for and with her guidance, our house is turning out to be fabulous! Her knowledge of different materials and options was great! Additionally, all of her contractors that worked on our house were absolutely wonderful, trustworthy and top-notch. We are just getting started in the design process and I was amazed how Joyce and Kristal totally nailed the design and articulated our very fuzzy thoughts about our living space and brought them to life! We appreciate the organizational skills and coming up with ideas we would never even think possible or that would never even enter our minds. We had a great experience with the owner, Joyce. We were on a limited budget and had never utilized the services of a professional designer. She stayed within our budget, found fantastic deals and brought in experienced professional sub contractors. She transformed our house with paint, furniture, art work, lightening and other creative features that we never expected or imagined!! She even used some of our old "junk" that I was going to toss out. Joyce takes time with her clients to understand their wants and needs. We whole heartedly recommend House of Joy Designs!! Do NOT trust a word that the the owner of this business says. She is a liar and will not live up to what she contracts to. She is devious, untrustworthy, dishonest, and fraudulent to mention a small list of adjectives to describe her. The company was just formed in august of 2020 and I believe that would have made us one of her first customers. FAIL!!!
