Billy and his crew are our heroes! We purchased a new house in Carolina Beach 4 months before hurricane Florence hit. The siding was ripped off our house and the inside was destroyed with water that came through the walls. We were pregnant with our first baby, and honestly scared. We don't have any family around so we had to put our trust in someone. Thank god for Billy and his crew. They were totally professional and had our house back together before our baby was born. Homeless and pregnant was horrible, but being able to move back in before our baby was born is priceless. Thank you Billy and

Not all heroes wear caps! I stumbled upon HKS in a google search frantically after Hurricane Florence wiped out our brand new home in Carolina Beach, NC. I was 4 months pregnant and we had only been in our home 4 months as well. Billy answered the phone and said he would be to our house shortly to go over damages and talk us through the process. Sure enough there he was on time everytime, he was always transparent , and honest through the whole job. Billy and his crew did the demo, mold, and rebuild of our home. When we got back into it he even did some minor upgrades! We were so happy with the

Billy and his crew were top notch! They performed two commercial upfits for us for both our new Wilmington location as well as Leland. We had strong budgetary requirements and he was able to make appropriate recommendations to come within budget and had work completed in a reasonable amount of time. Great talker but cannot produce a quality product. He's a salesman not a carpenter. They constantly switched out the workers on site making it almost impossible for someone on site to really know what was going on. It did seem like they just looked for guys on the street willing to work for the lowest price. Low ball pricing and then upcharging for just about every little thing. They ended being a much higher price than most of the other bids because of this. Will NOT use again.

HKS Quality Remodeling & Construction was referred to me by several people in my neighborhood. They have completely renovated several houses around mine and my husband and I asked them to do ours as well. They exceeded our expectations. HKS provided quality work. They replaced our siding, renovated our bathrooms and kitchen, as well as replacing all of our doors, windows, and painting. The workers were clean, polite, and worked efficiently while respecting us and our home.
