Mr Crowder has NEVER FAILED to return our calls, not EVER FAILED to meet us at our property or fail to EVER not meet our needs! He has went out if his way EVERY TIME TO ACCOMIDATE MY FAMILY.

I don't know what the 1-star reviewer is talking about- I never met Tommy, but he called me back at 8 at night and gave me 15 minutes just to tell me that he couldn't help me within my 6 week time frame. If I could wait for him, I absolutely would. One of the most impressive businessmen I've met, and at 65 yrs old, I've met a bunch. No surprise he's booked so far out!

Tommy will take the time needed to ensure that your project will come out the best it possibly can. He will take the time to answer any questions and treats every project as though it was his own. I really cannot say enough good about Tommy Crowder! We had Tommy clear our property of trees for a home site and install a driveway with gravel. He executed the project flawlessly and professionally! We already have him lined up for our next project--a retaining wall and basement dig. Not only is Tommy the best excavator I have ever worked with, but I also found him to be an excellent resource for other referrals and consider him a friend!

Just moved to Newport this year. Had a lot of problems with our access road leading to our property. Tommy came immediately to give us an estimate on repairing the road as well as clearing brush away from our very long driveway, leveling it out so rain water will drain properly, and laying new gravel the entire length. We also had a very large rock taking up a lot of space coming up the drive. His crew spent 4 hours working with a jack hammer to get the road level. His crew was very polite and professional. Well worth every penny.

Tommy and his crew did a phenomenal job of excavating for us. Our place is full of rocks and was not an easy job. Tommy is awesome, honest, hardworking, pleasant, friendly, and very helpful in several aspects of our construction process. He knows a lot of people who do great work, also. We are from Florida, so we don’t know anybody here. We met Tommy and began our new construction process to build a cabin in the mountains. We had about 1/3 of our one-acre lot that was a wooded area at the end of a Cove on the lake. In order to have lake access we had over 30 trees cut down and cut to a size to burn in our fireplace. After spending over a year trying to find someone to clear the cut trees and the now-tall weeds we were exasperated. I would believe that if you are comparing excavating services in eastern Tennessee, Tommy Crowder Excavating is the benchmark.
