Chase and his team at Dragonfly is amazing! We had two dreaded issues - our AC not working when it started to get hot and our heating not working when it started to get cold - not fun in Texas! Chase was out the same day and offered a comprehensive overview of the issue and a fair price for the fix. He and his team got us on the calendar and all fixed up in no time! I called Chase "after hours" I think...I had no idea what time it was. I just know that I came home after work, and there was no cold air! My friend told me to call Dragon Fly Mechanical. I called the number after two others didn't answer.
A guy by the name of Chase answered the phone as he was on his way home as well. I let him know what was going on... kids in their way home etc. Chase asked my address and headed over. He got to my house in about 20 minutes, had me up and running about an hour later after replacing my indoor fan motor. I never knew I was actually dealing with

Professional service, they helped my grandmother in a pinch recently. I appreciate the honesty and good advice from Seth, the technician who came out. I would recommend this company for any HVAC issues. Not sure why their Google listing labels them as a Heating Contractor, they definitely work on A/C's as well.

Have used this company 3 times. Twice I feel that they gave me fair service when I called about problems. Responsive to setting up the appointment, I watched over the servicing, double-checked the parts pricing they gave and all was fine. However, I then signed up for their "maintenance" check on a second home. This is where they got me. They said there was no problem - there wasn't; and I was clear that the system was working fine and cooling well when they arrive. They found no leaks. But, still at the end of the call, they charged me for $375 worth of freon "top-up". No reason given and I wasn

They got to my house on short notice. The technician was on time and texted when he was 45 minutes away. He was professional and thorough. Ultimately the repair for my air conditioner was a simple one (hallelujah), but he still tested the unit and made sure everything was working as it should. Last summer our downstairs A/C unit went out and the house was heating up quickly. I called Dragonfly Mechanical and they were super responsive. I told them that my elderly mother lived with us and immediately they escalated the ticket.
The service man came to the house fully prepared to fix whatever needed fixing. He was in and out in a jiffy and super considerate. The bill was extremely reasonable as well.

Would highly recommend! Like many others, the extreme heat yesterday caused our A/C to stop working. I called multiple other businesses who were booked for the next 1-2 days. Dragonfly was able to come the same day. Seth was able to quickly identify and repair the problem and our home was feeling cooler before he could even drive away. I can't be happier about this company. I'm selling my home and literally one day before closing, the buyers brought up an issue that was unresolved in the contract (which we thought was previously resolved).
I called Dragonfly in panic and somehow, by the grace of god, the sweet lady on the phone (The owner, possibly, I forget her name, but she's awesome) was able to send a technician within a few hours when I told her we were closing the next day.
The technician came right out, fix the problem, and now we're in the clear.
YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME.

I called Dragonfly because my AC unit was having issues and another local company told me they weren't able to do a house visit for 3 weeks. Seth at Dragonfly was able get out to me the same day I called (in nearly 100 degree weather) and worked late to ensure the job was done. Although it was a minor repair, Seth and everyone from Dragonfly went out of their wait to make sure I was taken care of. I will be using them again for any future HVAC services.

I noticed one evening that the downstairs part of our house was getting warm. I went outside and found the compressor was not running. But then, it kicked on again - without the fan that blows over the condenser coils running. Oops!
Since the owner lives in our neighborhood, even though I had not met him, I found their website and requested service. It wasn't completely urgent as our upstairs system was running fine and there is another bedroom there.

I hate to write this review because I initially really felt good about these guys. They came out about a year ago and replaced an evaporator coil on our AC. Tech was great and they were prompt and courteous. They have a one year warranty on their work....
Well about two weeks before the warranty was up we noticed the house wasn't cooling. Called Dragonfly and on a Sunday afternoon they sent someone right over.

After maybe fifteen minutes of inspecting the tech informed me that it was not the evaporator coil this time - which is too bad because that would have been under warranty

We first got introduced to Dragonfly 10 years ago from aword-of-mouth recommendation of our neighbor, and we've had James come out several times to keep our AC going strong and have never been disappointed.
Today we needed help on a Saturday, and Brian responded immediately and took care of everything, and the price was very fair. Brian was totally awesome, and great reflection on Dragonfly's excellent customer service.
