Swarey Builders was started in 1990 by David A. Swarey after 12 years of prior construction experience. Our primary focus back then was general construction including flatwork concrete. In the spring of 1999 we attended a Stampcrete training seminar where we learned about the unique possibilities of working with decorative stamped concrete.

They poured the concrete too dry, and when they stamped it, the stamping process caused stretch cracks in the finished surface. They claimed that was normal, but I have been in the construction profession all of my life, and that was the result of poor workmanship. They would not do anything to correct the problem. We certainly do not recommend!

Swarey initially did a stamped concrete patio for us. We were very pleased with their work and decided to have an additional walkway done. We also talked about having our garage floors coated with an epoxy type finish and they did an excellent job on that as well. They were very punctual and cleaned up after themselves as well as very respectful. We would have them do more work for us and would highly recommend them.
