I'm the owner and co-founder of Barnes Sklare Remodeling. I started working with my uncle Chuck and his remodeling company while I was in High School 25 years ago. We found we had a great time working together and shared the same likes, attitude, and goals. After high school I helped my father and Chuck for many years with a successful telecommunication business.

I've been using Chris and the Barnes Sklare team for years on a variety of projects. The most recent involved a complete remodel of my primary bathroom. I could not be more pleased with the end result. They tore out my bathtub, floors, drywall, tile, vanity and sink, and replaced with a completely new bathroom. From the glass shower doors to the tiled floor they pay attention to every minute detail. The guys always showed up on time, thoroughly cleaned up after each day was completed, and delivered the project on time. I knew they were professional based on my past experiences but their attention

Wonderful. Took a dream vision of a powder room and made a reality. Designed, remodeled mud room space, installed underground plumbing, drywalled, took out door and framed in wall. Just a magnificent job. Excellent crew, excellent designer.

They started and ended work for the day when they said they would. Project lasted exactly as many days as projected. They will definitely be our first contact for future projects and renovations.

We recently had our flooring replaced and built a dry bar in our bonus room. I was very pleased with the work done by Chris and crew. They arrived early every day, completed the project on time, and were respectful to myself and children during the project. At the end of each day they would clean up before leaving. This made it easy to still use the space during the project and cut down on dust etc. Any time we had questions or concerns Chris was quick to respond and offer suggestions/help. The end result was wonderful and I look forward to using them on future projects. I would highly recommend

BS remodeling did such an amazing job remodeling our kitchen and dining room! Chris and his crew were so respectful of our space and had the best communication on each step of the process. Chris was so easy to get along with and was always open to our ideas and changing things when we wanted to. There wasn’t any pushing or forcing us into doing things a certain way, it was always up to us. Chris also had great suggestions on places to partner with to get the material we wanted to make our kitchen and dining room absolutely perfect. And Chris is always willing to stop in to check on our kitchen

Loved this team! I had a bathroom added in my basement and a patio door installed . They also removed part of a wall in living room and the drywall was perfection! Electrician also added some additional lighting and outdoor plug on patio. I’m definitely hoping to have them back when I can. I was so very pleased. Just honest good guys that take pride in their work.

Chris Barnes and his team are thorough professionals. They remodeled my basement after a water damage and now that’s the best section of my home (according my mom, at least). Jokes apart, these guys are polite, friendly and very good in what they do.
Working with them was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with any contractor in 20 years. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking to get a high-quality, hassle-free job done. Worth every penny I paid them!
