WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR EXPENSIVE BLUE PRINTS !! If this review prevents even ONE person from having to deal with the people at this business, it will be well worth it!! They were the ONLY insulation company (I called 4 for estimates) that REQUIRED I give them actual copies of my blueprints. I emailed them copies, which was normal protocol, and perfectly acceptable with all of the other companies I called for estimates, but Candice INSISTED that they needed the ACTUAL BLUEPRINTS to calculate the estimate. So, I drove them out to Lancaster gave them to the owner

Horrible experience. They installed the wrong material, not to code! They also forgot to install styrofoam ventilation baffles When their work failed inspection they refused responsibility and WE HAD TO RIP OUT THEIR WORK AND INSTALL PROPER CODE INSULATION OURSELVES AND INSTALL THE BAFFLES. Home insulation supply charged us for the additional materials required by NYS A horrible job we paid friends and family to help. Home insulation refuses to discuss compensation for the $1000.00 labor we paid our friends and to this day they have refused to return calls and to send us a receipt for the $700

Horrible experience. Called to get an estimate and was made to feel like a bother. All the woman who answered the phone did was rell me how busy they are. When i asked for an estimate she gave me times during the day. When i said i work during those hours..got an oh well attitude. I wont bother...guess they dont want to be bothered. Horrible experience

I'm very happy with the service provided and pricing.
Had my whole house filled with blown in cellulose insulation, Rob the installer did a great job and cleaned up thoroughly after.
Pricing was very fair and the quoting process was painless. These guys don't b.s. around like many of the other local insulation companies.
I highly recommend these guys to everyone.

Great Company Great Work Done!! Had the insulation for an entire brand new build done and am extremely happy with it. John was great to work with and was very responsive. He listened to what our needs were where we wanted half the house done in spray foam and other half in standard fiberglass. He provided us a quote broken out in a few different ways so we could choose what was best for us. He even met us at the house to do a walk through to go over all the final details before they guys came to do the job. We have contacted this company 4 times to set up an estimate. Usually we were only getting a voice mail. we left numerous messages with no call back. Today I called and spoke to receptionist tried to set up appointment and was told they would get back to us, When i explained that we left SEVERAL messages she chuckled and said OK, I'll let him know. that was at 9:00AM Still waiting to hear something. So much for trying to support local business. I do not care how busy you are, it is common courtesy to return phone calls.

Unlike the previous reviewer, my experience with Home Insulation & Supply was exceptional. From the bidding process to completing the work I had no issues with the management or workers. I had a fairly large job and was quoted a fair price (not the highest and not the lowest bid I received) and a realistic schedule. The estimate was comprehensive and complete and they delivered precisely what they promised, on time and on budget. The quality of the work is high as I can see an immediate improvement in how my roof reacts to ice and snow (no more ice caps!) and my house feels warmer and more efficient

This "company" is very, very unprofessional. Unresponsive, unorganized, and will leave you waiting for your order to be done. Did they tell you someone would be there on Monday? 9 out of 10 times no one shows up until possibly Wednesday.. and of course you won't know because you most likely won't be able to get an answer from them nor will they respond back to your call(s).
Did they tell you the job would be done in a day?? Most likely it will take two days, that is unless the company makes the employee(s) stay and work until 8pm.
And lets hope someone in the "office" did their calculations correctly
