Michael Mutch, Owner, graduated from Apex High School in 1989 and attended North Carolina State University from 1989 to 1992. He incorporated Mutch Landscaping in 1992. While attending high school, Mike started mowing lawns and found he had an eye for landscaping allowing him to build a small business with sixteen accounts in the Cary area doing the work himself.
While enrolled in the Turf Management program at NC State University, Mike continued to grow Mutch Landscaping, Inc. into a successful, personally managed, competitive company in the Triangle and surrounding areas. Mike has been in the landscaping business for three decades and continues to serve many of his original clients.

I am in the Cottages at Regency. I worked in the Industry in Florida. Our HOA contracts with Mutch. We have three different levels of homes here. My back yard is the one with the grass not mown near the fence line (plenty big enough strip for a push mower). The shabby bush is in our end of the neighborhood. There are hundreds of bushes not cut since Spring.
The picture of the well manicured shrubbery is up the road in the "Elite" homes. They pay a tad more in dues. Some of the HOA Committee members live up there. Coincidence?

Mutch Worse Than You Think. Our HOA management companies CAS, Inc. and OMEGA contracted them for $150K + a year. As homeowners we are so completely un-satisfied with their work, customer service, and results in maintaining our neighborhood green spaces and family areas, all we can do is warn you - don't make the same mistake we did.

We hired Mutch landscaping for our neighborhood based on a very low yearly price. After the contract was signed, they revealed themselves to have a very poor work ethic. After many complaints to the HOA board, the board insisted that they abide by the terms of the contract. Less than a month later, Mutch gave a 30 day notice for cancellation of the contract. During that 30 days they did NOTHING at all. This was done at the peak of the season. We were left high and dry and the neighborhood looks the worst I've seen in the 10 years I've lived here. Hire at your own peril.

This company has been servicing my community for years, and I have always had a really great experience with them. A few months ago during some bush trimmings (first time in years) one of the screens on my window was accidentally cut, as was my hose. I contacted Mutch and spoke with the owners. They apologized, immediately sent out a screen repair guy who replaced my screen good as new, and shipped me a new hose from amazon. THAT is how you keep customers happy. They know how to treat people at Mutch Landscaping. I highly recommend them!
