Brian and his team did an excellent job with the installation of the cameras for us. They came on time and completed the job quickly. The system works great and as promised; in addition Brian took the time to show us how to save images and video through the phone app and on the computer so you don't have to worry about trying to figure it out on your own. Now we don't have to constantly watch out for the neighborhood teenagers and certain adults from stealing and destroying our property when we aren't watching.

Blackhawk Security Cameras came to our family's assistance over two years ago. We were confronted with a serious threat in regards to family custody. The perpetrator was irrational and was a serious threat to our granddaughter who basically had an order of protection against the family perpetrator.
Once the perpetrator discovered in court that our granddaughter's primary residence was under surveillance by cameras 24-7, we never saw that person around our house, no less our community. And once the judge was notified about the cameras on site, he referred to any violations recorded

Brian did a install of surveillance cameras at my house yesterday, 4-16-16. I went with the 6 camera, upgraded camera system. He came in and delivered everything he promised. No holes in any Sheetrock, a super clean job. Cameras are super clear (most impressed at night, when it's so clear you can see bugs flying around) and I have access from both my phone and my wife's. We also upgraded the memory on the dvr so I have approximately 30 days of storage. I also had a ton of questions between the time that he came out for the estimate, and did the install and Brian had no problems

Hello my fellow yelpers.....as I'm sure you can see, I am very active and believe of Yelp so there is no surprise when I say that I found Brian at Blackhawk on Yelp and contacted him solely because of his great ratings.
I called Brian and with a quick response, he came over to my house to see what I needed. I was looking to bring my Cablevision to an detached garage, along with wifi and to also bring my cable out to the back of my home for a TV, along with the installation of the wall brackets and TV's as well. This required outside trenching a conduit for the cable from the house

Truth be told, when I purchased my home last year, I always knew one of the first things I wanted to do was to put in a camera system. Being an IT manager myself, I had contemplated actually doing the work (wiring and purchasing Costco system) myself.
I did however, did a little more deep-dive thinking about it and came to the conclusion that the positioning of the camera's is just as important - if not MORE - than the cameras themselves. Not to mention properly hiding all wiring behind the vinyl siding.

We had house cameras and doorbell camera installed on Friday and these guys are amazing!...Very very professional!...I was out of town so my husband was home and Brian text me when they arrived and when they were done he kept me updated while they were doing our job! Awesome job all around. Install was done when they said it would be. All work was through and neat. Very professional and courteous. So many break ins and such around
I decided I wanted a security camera at my house
I went to local stores but realized It was too hard for me to properly set up myself.
Called one of those so called free security services that give free equipment etc but a big service charge
I wanted a camera so that I could see what was going on anytime anywhere
easy to use from phone
and actually be able to rewind and be able to "See" live what is going on
having seen recent pictures in Newsday of such of things serious as a armed bank robbery and you can't actually see the faces clear enough
