Our mission is to provide the city of Riverside and surrounding areas with landscaping services that reduce water use and waste, put more color into your space, and highlight the inherent beauty of Southern California. Our education background is in scientific research on plant and pollinator interactions, habitat restoration, and permaculture.

We seek to provide an educated, sustainable, and water-saving design for any landscape. Going forward in Riverside, water is not the only concern we have. Many of our local flora and fauna are becoming more vulnerable to extinction. Namely, our local coastal sage scrub plants and pollinators that can only be found right here in Riverside!

We aim to repair some of the damage to these losses, and prevent future extinctions. We believe this is not only good for the environment, but also people who rely on local pollinators, such as farmers, gardeners, and anyone who eats the food they grow. Because Riverside is such a rich agricultural town, we absolutely need to ensure that it can be sustained.
Services
Native landscaping uses 50%-100% less water than conventional landscaping. At least 60% of our potable water ends up on the ground for landscaping, and natives are an ideal way to meet (and exceed) Gov. Brown's mandatory 25% water use cuts. Native landscapes need little to no pesticides. The average gardener uses 20 times more pesticides than the average farmer.
One of the interesting features of this project was the use of broken concrete, also called Urbanite. This free material was used to create functional and aesthetic planter boxes. It also gave us an opportunity to make the walkways permeable to water, allowing every drop of rain water to sink into the soil.
