Services
This is the single most popular form of outdoor lighting. But in our opinion, it is rarely executed properly. A sconce or two may do the trick in helping you to be able to find your keys at night or lead your guests safely to your door but is just simply uninspired. An entrance is an architectural focal point and should be highlighted as such and we know just how to do it.
Landscapes lighting has tremendous value as far as safety and security but why stop at practical? Each project is custom designed to unify the relationship between architectural structures and nature but most importantly meet our clients personal needs. Every light we expertly install has a deliberate balance of artistry and function.
A form of down lighting that is typically used in trees so the light is screened through the leaves and branches creating interesting and organic shadows. This non-directional diffused lighting creates ambiance that can be enjoyed year round. Moon lighting is ideal for covering large areas in light such as patios or walkways.
What we find when servicing lighting systems that were not installed by us are a number of different transgressions. Errors made with no regard and understanding to the lighting installation process, corner cutting or outright deception can become extremely costly to fix and even lead to re-installation.

Working with Phil to create a lighting design plan for my home was a wonderful experience! I recently had landscaping and lighting done which I wasn't happy with however, upon meeting w/Phil, he could easily see how this could be improved in order to highlight the different aspects of my home. I was very happy with his lighting ideas and once implemented, truly transformed my home. The staff at Luminated Landscapes are also wonderful to work with as they are very friendly and helpful and quickly respond to p/c's, texts and emails. I would highly recommend this company.

Phil’s reputation in his field is second to none. We had a consultation at my home and I was extremely impressed with his explanation on the qualities of good lighting, design strategies, and most of all listening to his client. His workers were extremely pleasant, skillful, and fastidious. My wife and I couldn’t stop smiling after seeing the final results as it’s like experiencing a new house at night. This project has be efficacious and in my opinion Phil and his crew are the paragon of landscape lighting in our area.

We have been so impressed by Phil and his team. From the design stage, where Phil really listens to what you are trying to achieve, to the installation, where his team works meticulously, the attention to detail is remarkable as is Phil's knowledge of lighting. Customer service and finished product are both outstanding. Really good landscape lighting truly makes a huge difference. Plus they are experts on timers so you never have to think about it. We've been very pleased.

Hi - Phil provided an attractive alternative to security lighting. We suffered from car break ins in our driveway. Phil lit our house and trees in such a way to provide light and security in an artful way. The lighting is like moonlight and throws interesting shadows. We have not had any further break ins since the lighting was installed.

I went to the 2018 Lumagination light show at the botanical gardens. Phil designed and set up all the lighting for the show. It was fantastic. The lighting was amazing and it was coupled with music. The number of lights and how they were placed was incredible. Plus, the other folks at the show were equally amazed. Really creative and beautiful.Phil does great work and made a lot of people really happy!

We worked with Phil at Luminated Landscapes to provide lighting for our wedding at the Botanical Gardens. He had thoughts and ideas on ways we could use light to make the space seem even more magical than it already is, and was able to fit an amazing lighting plan into our budget. During the reception the lighting looked amazing, and now when we look at the pictures it's all we can focus on. We are thrilled that he was able to pull off what he did for us, it came out fantasticly! We strongly recommend him for any lighting project you have!

I called Luminated Landscapes because I had seen their work a many Junior League of Buffalo Show Houses. We have a very modern looking house which is tough to light. Phil came out and drew up a plan. He thought of things that we never would have and really made us understand that you are lighting your HOUSE and not necessarily just your landscaping. I'm a person who values aesthetics. I keep my home neat, I mow my lawn and I try to bring value to my neighborhood. But, there has always been something missing to my landscaping. Light...light! Yes, it's the beauty of light! How did I discover this "cherry on the top"? Phil Colarusso at Luminated Landscapes!
