A & B Lock and Security started in 1987 after Bill, a third-generation locksmith, moved his family to Gilford, New Hampshire. Bill provided locksmith and handyman services to the Lakes Region out of a small shed he had built in the backyard of his mother-in-law's home. Almost 30 years later, so much has changed.

Bill was amazing and very professional and prompt. He went above and beyond and even used his ladder to put up smoke detectors that a squatter in the house removed. Bill used his own batteries and was super helpful with a very stressful situation. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone in need of their services.

A general response you posted under EVERY poor review saying they are not a person. You didn't even ask my phone number. How do you look up the record exactly? I do business with people who own their stuff. Clearly I will never attempt your business again

My dog locked me out of the house at 7 pm on Sunday evening. Owner of the company came out, himself, and had me in within 5 minutes, replaced the lock, and made me a new key. They were the only company who answered the phone. Call them first and you won't have to call anyone else.

We needed some new door locks put in, and we also needed all of the locks rekeyed. This company was extremely responsive and easy to deal with. Richard showed up and did an outstanding job, even noticing another door in our house that was not closing properly and adjusting it. He was friendly and very professional. We would definitely call them again if we need a locksmith.

I didn’t have keys to the 130+ year old front lock. A&B showed up on time and were able to rekey the old lock to match the keys of my back door. Price was as quoted. They even cleaned and oiled the inside of my lock. I would highly recommend.

I locked myself out of my house and they were here in 30 minutes to help me out. After explaining we had just recently moved and the keys/locks were all weird and messed up our technician asked if we wanted to get new keys, new locks and have them installed today as well! They immediately fit me in today for all of that and even saved me some money with a lightly used lock/deadbolt. Super nice, super professional, super helpful, super reasonable prices! Our technician was also super sweet to our pup which made us very happy besides the work they did.

Chew and screw. They installed remote a operation locking system at second home Which I made clear I'd rent on Airbnb. After a time it stopped working. It took over a month to get them out there to look at what needed to be done and multiple calls. They finally went out there and did not complete the job. The lock still don't work. They refused to reset the system on the basis that it is a consumer based locking system.
AB Lock was the Company that picked and installed the remote system in issue for commercial like Airbnb use with no budget restraints put in place. They should stand

I would highly recommend this locksmith. They are a fast , courteous and professional. I got one other quote on the lock and the other company said it couldn't be done unless I replaced the door but A&B came out and fixed it on the spot. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to everyone I meet for their Lock needs.
