Bees are around us most all the time. Most everyone is aware of the dangers when they are near, and we all know the pain of being stung. The reaction to a bee sting varies from person to person but some people are severely allergic. For those allergic or if you have more then just a few stings, say 10 or 12 they can be life threatening and you will be needing emergency help.
Bedbugs are obnoxious little pests that feed only on human blood. As a rule you will not realize you have a problem until you start getting itchy spots, welts, and or blood stains on your sheets because the bite is painless. The results of these bites may include various health issues from allergic response, to skin rash, and even psychological problems.
Birds can be pretty to look at but, they can be very busy and noisy. They and their nests carry various diseases, lice, fleas, and ticks. They are not the cleanest of pests to have living in or on your house. Everyone knows about their droppings. It doesn't take long and you really don't want them near.
The bad news is that there are several thousand different types or species of cockroaches. The good news is they don't all live here, and of the ones that do live here in the desert, only a few want in your house. Unfortunately, those that do, create problems. They spread disease, create allergy problems, and create filth.
Our winter is over and warm weather is quickly approaching. With this warm weather scorpions are out and hunting. While everyone needs to be careful, If you have small children or elderly you need to be especially watchful. There are many varieties of scorpions in the metro area and the desert at large.
