Starting with Albert's grandfather, Guilio Gasparini, who came to New York in 1922 from Friuli Italy, and continuing with Albert's father, Lino, the Gasparinis possess knowledge as well as experience of the terrazzo, marble and granite trade. Guilio opened his business in 1930 in Toronto, Ontario. Albert came to Ohio in 1997 when he purchased the Cleveland Quarries in South Amherst.
