I had a propane stove installed and had the worse customer service ever. They installed the thermostat too close to the the stove even when we ask them to move it. The fan worked for 10 mins and never again. We asked them to come and fix it and because they couldn't come until a day after the warranty was up they said we'd have to pay for it. I just threw my hands and we never call them again.

Buying a fireplace can be overwhelming when you are going for a specific look. We bought ours for new construction. Coordinating a build out can be tricky. Knowing what your contractor vs your installer is responsible for is important and plan ahead! They get booked out! Make sure you read the manual for your fireplace too. Our contractor used Sheetrock instead of cement board around the fireplace face as specified in the manual and had to tear the fireplace apart a week before we moved in. Armstrong caught it thank goodness! Their installer Ryan is also very careful, tidy and explains everything

Originally I worked with this company while remodeling my home last year. They had a delay in fixing my pellet stove completely and had not finished the job. I received an email of collections notification from the owner Greg stating that I was being sent to collections. I was treated as if I was going to stiff the company of the amounts due, however, as a consumer I was unwilling to pay the invoice as my pellet stove wasn't functional yet as they couldn't get the unit to operate without an alarm. Things started off well enough but over time went sideways. Armstrong had difficulty in helping us get through the design elements of our alcove stove installation. It took multiple trips out to our house before they could provide a suitable solution. Then came time for the installation, due to their installation team's poor quality (no strapping on the ducting) and routing the fresh air supply to the exterior I had to rework their infrastructure. Then to add insult to injury they charged me 500.00 to come out and add a 6' section of a flexible duct due to their installation deficiencies

Armstrong's Stove lacks experience and professionalism. The installers damaged part of my metal fascia and denied they had done so. I do not believe the workers realized this had occurred but given that the metal roofing company was out that morning to review their install and there was no damage, I am confident that Armstrong's installation team caused the damage. I tried multiple times to reach a positive solution as to keep our business local, but the owner was rude and confrontational and would not repair it. The quality of installation of the ducting was poor and required re-work

Ryan from Armstrong provided consultation and outstanding service on the reinstall of my wood burning stove + new flue post-remodel. He took exact measurements and provided detailed instructions (I actually video taped him) on the design of the new template per code requirements. A crew from Armstrong did a terrific job on the install. Ryan has consecutively demonstrated patience, product knowledge and outstanding customer service. Highly recommend Armstrong for your fireplace needs.

They did some work on our propane stove several years ago; when we had trouble with it today we called and their bookkeeper answered. She was incredibly patient and helpful, taking a great deal of time to try to work through the problem over the phone, ultimately grabbing one of their techs to get us an answer on-the-spot. We offered twice to pay something for this, but she declined. This is definitely the way to build customer loyalty. Thanks so very much for the help today!

Armstrong's serviced our wood stove after we purchased a new home this summer. It had been a very very long time since it had any maintenance done, and the guys got it repaired and working well for us. When they reinstalled the stove, they noticed the connecting pipe wasn't level, so immediately cut it down to do it's job. Both men were very courteous, explained what they were doing and answered my questions well. They even cleaned up after themselves very nicely. Thanks!

We had Armstrongs out to check out a woodstove and chimney in a cabin we bought. The guys arrived and were awesome, very courteous, careful and polite. They could not do any work due to damage to the chimney we were not aware of (now are and can repair). The were very apologetic, though we totally understood, then WAIVED the service call after driving 45 minutes each way. We insisted on at least paying a trip fee, so they called the boss and he said no fee. Would totally use them again, great people.

Conveniently located on the edge of town - they are a great option for Ellensburg folks looking to support your local businesses instead of calling someone out of Yakima - trying to get things done on the cheap.
I recommend their work, and will use their services again in the future!

Buyer beware, 5 days after pellet stove installation my personal home CARBON MONOXIDE detection alarm went off at 2am. All were evacuated including children and pets. If you care for family you might want to reconsider doing business with Armstrong. It was a good thing I had my own Carbon Monixide alarm or I might not be here to write this review.
Regrettably, I Wanted to support a local business and went with Armstrong. After 3 installation visits and a malfunction on the pellet stove I withheld 10% of $10,000 ballance. (Only untill the malfunction and installation issues were resolved)

This place has a justifiably bad reputation. We had a fireplace screen installed and installation and product were very low quality. Our contractor purchased a fireplace from them. I went in to get a quote on a glass door 3 times with a promise to respond shortly but never got any follow thru. Seem very indifferent to customers

Not a happy customer!! they sell u a stove but do not stand up for service, especially when its time for stove cleaning, they act like they are doing u a favor, their quote is "We don't have to clean stoves", we just sell the product lamo lamo shame on u guys!! I called them out and then got put on their no service list!!! they said I was rude!! any one would be upset after being told one thing, they act like it was my fault!!!
