I found myself in this conversation when meeting with homeowners about their projects. I found that their "home-to-do lists" were the cause of so much stress in their lives. I wanted to help people find more mental clarity by completing their home repair projects. My Name is Jed Davis, and I am the owner and operator of Longview Tradesman.

After years of working with homeowners, I decided I wanted to create a construction/handyman company that specializes in just that. For several years I worked for other greater Omaha companies, being mentored by a lawn and landscape management expert, with now 35 years of experience under his belt; which opened doors in my years in construction Building fences, Decks, replacing kitchen cabinets, room updates and remodels, and bathroom updates.

Longview Tradesman takes pride in work done well. We have a goal and that is to make your vision come to life and make your dreams for your home a reality that you can enjoy for years to come. Rest easy knowing that the safety of your home and family is secure with fences and gates.

Jed was part of our kitchen redo. He installed backsplash in the kitchen and installed a new railing in the dining room. Jed also did smaller jobs during the kitchen redo. He does excellent work and takes pride in what he does. Highly recommend using Jed for your projects! Greg J Oct/21

Great people and always pro work. Very friendly service and very sociable guy. Works real hard and treats his employees well too. Always wants things to be perfect even for simple jobs. Also very down to earth about projects and how much he can actually handle.
Miss not flipping burgers already 😎

Very poor customer service skills. Has an excuse for every time there was no follow through. I was asked to sign a contract (which I did) to assure the business I was committing to the job. I was given a time frame the job would be started. Then I get totally blown off when it is around the time to start my job. No phone call, text or email. I emailed, no response. I sent a text with a reply of oh yeah, we’ll get to you. Dead air.

I am unable to comment on the quality of work because it never happened. Measurements, materials, dates set, and then my mother was ghosted. Had my sister contact him from a different phone number and she was able to get in touch with him, one time. Then she was also ghosted. If you’re not going to do the work, just say so. We set a date for the last week of June, then the second week of July. It is now the first week of September and my mother still doesn't have a banister in her split level and we haven’t heard a word from him via text, email, or phone call. I would avoid.
