I asked Mountain Hardscapes to extend my patio and add some square feet to the side. It was a small job, but had some complications because of drainage downspouts and curves on the original porch.
I interviewed several companies to do the job and Shane at Mtn. Hardscapes was clearly the most knowledgeable of what needed to be done and how to do it.
Victor, a master mason, is brilliant at building and finding solutions for how to lay the stones. He found a way to incorporate the new side yard patio with the current curved patio. It is so beautiful it looks like it has always been this way. Victor

Be wary of using this company to install pavers. There was a lot of damage done to my yard and the wrong product was installed, without them noticing that what was ordered and what was received were two very different things. They reinstalled something that was similar to what I originally chose but at that point the crew was in a hurry and did not pay attention to detail or repair the damage they did to my yard. They left large ruts in my backyard, sand and paver debris in the grass (they did not protect the grass when cutting pavers) and destroyed our side yard walkway. Their was no quality control

Fantastic experience! I met with 5 companies before choosing Mountain Hardscape Systems to pave our driveway and front walk. I was very gun shy because we had just finished a nightmare 3-bathroom remodel. I did not want another experience like that! I am so glad we chose Mountain Hardscape Systems. Wow! Everything about this project was outstanding. Shane was extremely knowledgeable and accessible. Not knowing exactly what we wanted ourselves, he made good suggestions. He backed up all he said with experience and facts. The crew functioned as a finely tuned machine. They worked hard and effectively. No time standing around figuring out who was to do what. They just did it. They were careful not to harm any of the rest of the yard, precise in trimming the pavers, and persistent to get it right. Very pleased with the outcome. Never could have designed or done this ourselves!

MHS did our patio last August. They were amazing to work with. Shane was super supportive and a 'partner' in this whole process. This was an investment into the future our house and it 100% paid off. The crew was 100% professional and a joy to have around. They even sang as they worked and laughed in a good way. And they provided a really beautiful border to our patio - as I had no idea what pattern to use. Every time, literally, someone comes into our backyard they comment on how beautiful our patio is. Even a recent landscape contractor! Which to me says a lot. We waited till this spring to seal
