Kings Way Homes

Built a fairly large custom home with Kingsway and after the whole process was finished I would build with them again. Friendly, helpful sales folks in the front end. Super for the project was very responsive and kept things moving. No major issues, fixed one or two small things right away. All people we worked with were down to earth. Was told about 10-12 months to finish and it was done in just over 10 months. They seem to know what they are doing, materials seem high quality, and all the subs did excellent work.

Kings Way built a custom home for our family in 2011. The company's sales team did an excellent job of capturing our ideas, their sought-after in-house architect did a phenomenal job of designing a beautiful and extremely livable house that we enjoyed for many years, our project manager went above and beyond in making sure that every custom detail was done just right (including some he worked overtime on weekends to do himself), their office staff was professional and responsive at all times, and their leadership was fair and honest throughout the process.

I hate to be someone to post a review on social media. In this case I feel confident that I did my best to follow through with my issues internally prior to posting a complaint online. That said- I should have believed others' warnings about Kings Way. What they say is true. No follow through. Do not rely on your home warranty as it means nothing. 2 years into my new home and only a horrible struggle. We built a Kingsway home 25 years ago. We are having terrible problems. I called and talked to the warranty manager who said “it is no longer under warranty... we don’t know maintenance.”. and other excuses. I am furious and contacting the owners. Stay tuned. I will post on what happens.
Our home was built so poorly that the entire underbody may need to be replaced because of the “shoddy” building.

My house had a mice infestation. I found the source to be under my patio door that cantilevers out from the foundation. There was a 6” gap between the foundation and building material. Instead of cutting out a wood panel to size do sealing it, they just put in a piece of wood without care. I could touch the outside ground from inside my basement. It was out of warranty and when I called they just laughed about it. I have since fixed the issue myself.

Toured the Meritage - a beautiful home. Never lived in a ranch before but this is definitely the one! Plus the people are so nice and knowledgeable. Looking forward to the whole process.

Great custom home builder where the new home sales team works diligently with you and Kingsway's architect to make sure your dream gets captured in their designs. Their homes include several standard features most other builders only offer as upgrades. Most floor plans are totally customized for each home. Highly recommended.

Kings ways homes have an absolutely lousy after sale service. I built with KW builders 3 years ago. there are many unfinished projects that needs to be completed like my bathrooms hardware are missing, doors are coming apart, the door hardware are crooked that do not function properly and many more. I have been reminding them for last two and a half years. Every time they say "We will take care of it" but so far nothing has happened. At times people answering the phone are impolite.
After 3 years of closing I am still waiting for them to take care of unfinished business.

I love my home but there is no follow through with issues that arise after your house is built. We have been going on 2 years after and nothing. Our project manager showed up multiple times with a notebook and wrote the same things down and nothing. If you want a company to complete a project fully look elsewhere. I changed my review to a 1. If I could give lower I would. After my initial review (2) two individuals came over and again took the list of items (this list was given to the company many times prior). This was in January. It is now the middle of May and nothing has been done. We cannot

Horrible customer service before, during and after construction!!!!! Lived in our house over a year and a half, and can't get anything fixed (after it took Kings Way Homes over 14 months to build it). Totally disgusted, would never build with them again! Please read reviews all over the Internet before you sign a contract with them!

We have built two Kings Way Homes. We absolutely love the company! Great designs, excellent construction team and they have been there for us when we had a few issues after we moved in. If you are thinking of building a home, I would tell you that our family highly recommends Kings Way Homes.
