We are a custom manufacturing company serving the construction industry. Automated Products Inc. (API) manufactures roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels (including tall walls) and floor panels. We also provide engineered wood products (EWP) LP'S I-joist and LVL. Automated Products was founded in 1964 to serve the manufactured housing and residential construction industries with professional grade roof trusses.
In 1995, we expanded our building product offerings to include engineered floor trusses. By 2001 we began manufacturing wall and floor panels to meet the increased demand in the residential and commercial construction industries. Services
Through the years we have had to design some very challenging roofs. While we are not able to always stick to a plan, we are able to design trusses that achieve the look and feel the owners are looking for. We are able to build all the features into our trusses so the framer on site doesn't have to spend time building down ceiling lines for vaults.
Why spend the time and money to set each floor truss on a job? If you are using I-joist's then you have to cut and set each one. Why not let us panelize your floor system? Everything comes cut to length. Any beams that are in the floor system are set and the floors or joists are hung. The panels are squared so all you have to do is set them on your walls.
Prefabricated wall panels provide an excellent alternative to traditional stick framing. Wall panels improve efficiency, reduce waste and increase structural integrity. They are easy to install and can be engineered for a variety of wall applications and heights. Wall panels reduce costly material overruns by eliminating material estimates and variances created by different framing techniques.
