A & R Construction is a small, local, family-owned business. We make our home in the Puget Sound region. We opened in 2012 and bring more than 18 years of construction experience and know-how to personalize every project that we work on. We are passionate about our work and customer satisfaction has been our top priority since Day 1.
A kitchen is the heart beat of your home. You make bread there, have company there and prepare most of the meals you share in this one space. A&R Construction's kitchen remodel is nothing less than a personalized transformation of your kitchen. The emphasis being on your kitchen. A space that is so personal must have a remodel that reflects that.
When bathrooms work properly they are an enjoyable place in your home, representing a transition space to start up or wind down your day. But sometimes bathrooms are simply do not work well. It's not always as straight forward as replacing a faucet or upgrading the shower either. There are matters of flow and style throughout the entire bathroom that have to work and complement each other, all while still looking great.
It doesn't have to be that way. Our handyman services are timely and we can get you on the schedule quickly. We have the time to get those projects around the home done because it's what we do. We're not squeezing them into the work day, being a handyman is our work day! We also provide quality work.

Having sold that house in 2014 we returned to Kirkland, and Robert did a total "gut to the studs" renovation on a 20-year-old condominium overlooking Lake Washington in downtown Kirkland.

Robert and his crew have helped me with several projects at my condo including installing recessed lighting, replacing and upgrading all electrical outlets and light switches. They replaced drywall and painted a section of the ceiling in a bathroom due to water damage from a neighbor's leaking sink. I found them to always be professional, reliable, and respectful. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

A good friend told me we couldn't go wrong w/A&R Construction who did their master bathroom remodel. She said they were on time & on budget. This is what we wanted to hear after a very late, over-budget remodel experience in the past. So, we hired Robert & his team & were very happy w/them. We recently used A&R Construction for both our master bath and guest bath remodel after a recommendation from a friend. I'm so happy we chose Robert for both of these projects. I hired A&R Construction to renovate my kitchen. Robert was my general contractor and took care of everything from start to finish. He started with a complete demolition, took care of some complicated electrical and plumbing work, installed flooring, cabinets, appliances, and painting. I found Robert and his crew very easy to work with and they were always on time. Robert was also very responsive to requests for other small jobs as well as added larger jobs of carpeting and painting other rooms. I am happy with the result and highly recommend A&R Construction.

I will never ever be able to properly convey my deep appreciation for this company. If you read my review of Blue Wave Construction you will know that I have been a huge dispute over failure to perform and getting my money back.

We found A&R Construction and Robert from a referral from our decorator. We recently moved to a condo in Seattle that needed a great deal of work and we only had 3 months to complete the whole remodel. Robert has truly been a God-send. We weren't sure we could even find a contractor and ended up with a great one. Robert handled the complete remodel from the electricians, painter, tile work, bamboo flooring and general construction.
