Complete Ground Control is a locally owned and operated company located in Alexandria Minnesota. We have 14+ years of experience in pest control and lawn control.
Ants are one of the most common pests found in and around homes in Minnesota. Most common ants found invading homes in Minnesota include carpenter ants, cornfield ants, pharaoh ants pavement ants, and thief ants. Species vary in size and color and differences in the antenna, head, thorax, petiole and abdomen allow for identification of individual ant species.
The multi colored Asian beetle is native to Asia but has become widespread in the United States. In Minnesota they are both a beneficial insect eating aphids, scale and other soft bodied arthropods that attack farmer's crops, and a major fall invading pest overwintering in homes and other buildings often in very large numbers.
Boxelder bugs are about a inch long and will be found near boxelder trees or maple trees. Boxelder bugs hibernate in the winter and live about one year. They cause little to no damage but become a pest when they invade homes in the fall often in large numbers. Treatments for boxelder bugs should be made in late august or early to mid-September before they gain entry into the home.
There are over 8000 species of centipedes found throughout the world. The house centipede being the most common popping up in bathrooms and basements across Minnesota. Centipedes name means 100 legs depending on the species they have as few as 15 pairs of legs or as many as 171 pairs. Centipedes will always have an odd number of leg pairs.

My son killed 5 spiders in his bathroom late Sunday night, so naturally I called for help immediately Monday morning. They picked up on the first ring. Initially they thought they wouldn’t be able to come out until Tuesday because they were already on a job and not set up for spiders, but a few hours later I got a call that they were on the way! It’s now Thursday and I’ve not seen a live spider in my house or outside since. I also had a ton of ants crawling in my impatiens outside and they are gone as well. I will definitely be calling them to spray again next spring!

We moved into our cabin two years ago. We did not wish to share our home with spiders and other crawling insects. Luke comes out to our cabin and applies a treatment twice a year. We are virtually bug free. He is very knowledgeable in this area and professional. Luke is easy to reach and responds promptly. His company's service is greatly appreciated and we highly recommend them.

Shane answered all of our questions in a way that we would understand them. He gave us suggests and was very attentive to wind, water/lake and surrounding yards when spraying. He was detailed when explaining exactly what he would be doing and how long to expect before we would need to spray again. He also gave suggestions for spraying in the fall. We will continue using Comple Ground Control for all our future needs!!!!

Luke is fantastic! He's professional and dedicated to what he does. He answers all my questions and actually listened to my concerns. I've used Complete Ground Control twice and have been happy with the results each time. The first time was for an insect issue and the second was for a rabbit issue. Both were done safely and humanely.
