Quartz is a non porous man-made stone that does not need to be sealed like granite or other natural stones in order to keep them from staining. It's practically indestructible and pretty much maintenance free. The non-porous and non absorbing nature of quartz stone surface makes it very hygienic; it does not harbor bacteria, which makes it a safe choice for food preparation on the counter surfaces.
Marbles and Onyxes are the most luxurious natural stones due to their distinct veins and swirls in bold colors. Their calcite based composition makes them softer than granite and therefore more vulnerable to scratches, etching and staining. Even with a heavy duty sealer, inappropriate use of cleaning agents can cause a chemical attack, permanently etching the surface of the countertops.
Man made, designed to last, porcelain is becoming more and more popular in the design industry even though it comes with a hefty price tag. With digital printing technology, they can mimic modern concrete looks or veiny marble classics. Porcelain countertops not only do not stain, etch or crack, they are also resistant to detergents, chemicals and blemishes- even the strongest paints can be removed from its surface.

We needed a small scale work in our kitchen that required shaving off a piece of countertop to fit a new electric range. I have contacted a few handyman, some of which were recommended by our realtor but they did not even bother to give us a quote. Customer service was topnotch! Everyone was very courteous and professional and my countertops look amazing!! The owner actually came to our house after the install to make sure everything looked the way I wanted. I could not be more pleased with my entire experience and will only be using Countertop World in the future.

Beautiful counters! I live out of town, but these people came in the first day and measured everything and installed next week. Three baths and the kitchen. Took less than a day to install and they look amazing. The whole process was easier than expected and the staff was very knowledgeable. They even adjusted our order to change the sink colors, styles, and faucets every time we changed our minds (which was a few). Installers were very easy to work with. Best part was our kitchen (no seam in the sink). Looks great!

As a home builder I have been using Countertop World for all my houses and remodels for a few years. They are very easy to work with and accommodating to my needs. Very easy to shop for what I wanted. Felt comfortable and I didn’t feel like I was getting taken advantage of on the cost. I love my countertops and was very pleased with the job they did. Honestly we were amazed at how quickly and professionally it happened. Their selection was awesome. We went with quartz due to durability. Sherrie was great help. She helped us pick out the stone, edging style and the sink. It was nice that they even have sinks. One less thing you have deal with. It was just a great experience all around.
