GutterBrush
Gutter Leaf Guard - GutterBrush, Gutter guard business still family owned by father/son Bob & Randy Schreiber since 2004!. Like many classic tales this too starts with a cabin in the woods. For more than 30 years, Bob Schrieber has enjoyed vacations, hunting and fishing with family and friends at his cabin tucked away in the Allegheny National Forest of Western Pennsylvania.

The cabin is nestled under a thick canopy of debris shedding trees and the never ending need to clean out the gutters was always high on the list of chores to be done. One year Bob came across an old twisted brush in a storage area and he thought that it may come in handy during the tedious task of gutter cleaning.

We think it was an old chimney sweep brush. As luck would have it, the brush was accidentally left in the gutter where it remained until the next cabin visit about 6-8 months later. Gutter cleaning was back on the 'To Do List' for the next cabin visit, and the gutters were loaded with leaves, acorns, pine needles, etc.

I have owned three homes with large trees and heavy leaf fall. I called the manufacturer and was impressed with their customer service and follow through. After installing the gutter brush on my home myself, I was amazed at the durability and performance of the product. I had my second set installed and thought that after ten years, I should have a gutter cleaner come out and inspect the gutters, tighten any loose gutters and let me know how the product was doing, he said there was little debris and they were still working as advertised. I just moved again and called and was greeted with the same

I purchased the Gutter Brush from this company.
So far, the product has performed as advertised, as I installed as soon as the product arrived. (Over a month ago)

I have used gutter brush for several years. They are an excellent alternative to getting up on the roof multiple times a year. However, they do eventually have to be removed for a thorough cleaning and they are more difficult to remove than to install. I no longer have the courage (foolishness) to lean over the edge of the higher parts of my roof especially if I am pulling a section of brush out of the gutter. I gave away most of my brushes. I kept enough to use in my lower gutters and they continue to be satisfactory. I recently had to contact the company to find out if I could get a package of

I had previously used the smaller 4" GutterBrush with my old 4" k-style gutters and recently replaced it with 5" in my new 5" k-style gutters so have about 3 years experience with this product. I find GutterBrush to install easily and work well. Redwood tree droppings and other leaf types do get caught in the bristles but water makes it into the gutter and the downspouts do not get clogged. I annually use a broom to knock off heavy areas of redwood buildup and maybe every 2-4 years remove the GutterBrush and bang it on the ladder side to clear the bristles. Gutter screens get matted and water sheets

We think the gutter brush is a terrific invention. Our neighbor has a liquidamber that showers us with leaves each year. since installing the gutter brush there is almost no leaves whatsoever. if a few leaves stick the next breezy day just blows them away. our gutters are actually working now. ( before the gutters and downspouts were a failure and the water poured off the front of the gutter and resembled niagra falls.)

While watching the video, this gutter brush looks like a great idea. So we purchased it to do a short section of roof to try it out. 26 feet to be exact. Yes, easy to install, but after the Fall, gutters were plugged. We had these installed for 3 years. Each year in the spring we would have to clean out all of the gunk, and we mean gunk. Nasty wet mud like stuff. Pulling the gutter brush out from under the gutter supports, what a flying, flinging mess, and it hits you in the face. GROSS. We had to clean them each and every year.

This Feb, 2017, bought new gutter guards and had to clean
