Our History Report

Tytan Security was founded in 2007. Its roots were planted in '99 when its founder first became involved in the alarm industry as a technician. After years of installing, troubleshooting, selling and managing, the founder realized that there was a local opportunity to establish a household security brand that offered much more flexibility than his previous employer could provide.

Tytan Security's headquarters are located in Cedar City, UT. Visit Southern Utah during the summer and you'll know why. Our immediate service area is Southern Utah including Saint George, Hurricane, Mesquite, NV. We also have satellite offices in Las Vegas, NV, SLC, UT and Rexburg, ID. Our basic security package includes a touchscreen keypad, cellular monitoring, (no phone line needed), 4 wireless entry doors, 1 pet immune motion detector and 1 remote keyfob. This is a great alarm package for those who want a reliable basic security system with on and off features that can be easily expanded upon in the future in the event you want to add more sensors and/or automation features.

Had my alarm system installed the other day! The tech knew what he was doing and was willing to stay after his scheduled hours to make sure all our needs were met! Its been a better experience then from past companies I have dealt with.

Abysmal. We had their alarm system installed in April of 2021. It did not work properly at the time of installation. They did come out and fix it. We had further issues with the water/leak sensor not working and the fire alarm not being connected to the monitoring service. We had the tech come back out and he said oh - sorry about the water/leak sensor there is nothing we can do about that. We also asked about why they do not monitor the fire system the tech said they only do alarms. Very shoddy product, the techs have limited to no knowledge of home automation or security system and they cannot

These folks make it easy to have whole-home security, with just a few hours to install. My favorite is the key-code door openers; no worries about juggling (or lost) keys, and the code can be different for each person who needs access. It's easy to change or cancel, too!
