Mark is wonderful! We had been getting the runaround from another chimney cleaning service in the area for over 2 months before finding Mark and Soot-Your-Self. We called Mark and he was out to our house within the week, cleaned, inspected and serviced our chimney for an incredibly reasonable rate - we were thrilled! Not to mention the fact that he left the area around our fireplace area cleaner than he found it and also tightened up some loose piping - all included in his rate! We are grateful to have him servicing our area and could not more highly recommend him!

I called to see if they could sweep the chimney pipe for my pellet stove insert. I told them it was blowing soot back into the house. I told him I'd pulled it out to clean it and the pipe running up the chimney had dropped soot into the blower. He said he didn't know if he could do it because he didn't know if it was installed correctly. I told him I'd had it reinstalled when I bought the house cause it wasn't installed correctly. I explained the installation and he said it sounded correct. He said he'd charge $125 and be out the next day at 10:00. I gave him my address
