Strikes Construction

We finished a kitchen remodel with another construction company last year, but then had a mold issue due to a slow leak under the sink likely caused by the February winter storm. So we had to tear up most of our kitchen for mold remediation and then put it all back together again. The company who originally did the remodel was no longer available, so I asked around for who we should hire. I was directed to Omar Ordaz and Strikes Construction -- and I’m so happy I was!

I hired Omar and his crew to tile a closet. They did a beautiful job with the tile which led to a discussion around remodeling of my closet. They did that as well - providing additional shelves and finishing off some hanging rods. As they were completing that I then added a small bathroom remodel. Omar and crew removed a tub and replaced it with a walk-in shower handling the tile work there as well. Throughout the project they kept the area cleaned - kept the floors covered coming in and out of the house and even swept and mopped at the end of each day.

We used Strikes' Construction for a kitchen/laundry/dining room remodel. We have completed multiple renovations prior to this job; however, in the past we always ended up "supervising or managing" the contractor's subs and communication was difficult. We wanted something different this time; and were extremely pleased with the level of service, timeframe, communication, quality, respect, and overall finished product that Strikes Construction and owner Omar Ordaz brought to our renovation.

We found had high recommendations on Nextdoor neighborhood website. We needed our floors done in 3 rooms, carpet to tile & baseboards replaced. We got several quotes & Strikes came in very competitive. Omar was very professional and very prompt with the information we needed. Once they started the work, I was not expecting how thorough they would be on preparation. They put flooring protection in the exciting floors, they plastic wrapped our clothes in the closet for dust protection. They hauled away all the trash, old carpet and old padding. The team was very professional and very responsive.

We had a flood in our home in July. Through insurance, we ended up with Strikes Construction performing our repair work. We were so pleased with the speed and quality of their work, we hired them back on our own for additional repair and paint work elsewhere. Omar is great to work with and extremely responsive - awesome workmanship and customer service!

We chose Strikes Construction to do a kitchen and den remodel. We are so pleased with Omar and his company. Omar was able to visualize what we wanted prior to the start of the project. We recently used Strikes Construction to fill in a section of wood flooring after pulling up a built in cabinet, as well as tear out and replace our kitchen backsplash. I could not be happier! Omar was responsive, timely, reliable and honest. His guys did a fabulous job on both projects. It’s impossible to match the wood flooring exactly but they came very close and came back afterwards to perfect it to our satisfaction. The kitchen backsplash turned out amazing. They took their time and really made sure every detail was perfect. I will definitely use them for future projects and highly recommend

As part of our kitchen remodel we needed a few small areas of the flooring patched and being such a small job were concerned it would be hard to find someone but Strikes was more than willing to help. Omar was very helpful, finding the matching flooring (engineered wood) we need and very professional / reliable. His team did a great job, would definitely recommend Strikes and hire them again.

I was very pleased with my experience with Strikes Construction and Demolition. We needed a crack in the ceiling repaired; it had been caused by a tech worker falling in the attic. Omar was able to give me an estimate right away, and the work was scheduled the day after I got the estimate approved. His workers were SO neat and careful with our home, and work was completed ahead of schedule.

Omar was very flexible on scheduling to do my kitchen backsplash. I had to change the date several times and he accommodated. The end product turned out gorgeous even though I picked a very hard color scheme (and wrong grout) to work with! They returned promptly to fix the minor issues and it looks fantastic! I will definitely use Strikes Construction again!
