Ridge Air Conditioning, Inc is a family owned and operated air conditioning repair and heating system company located in Avon Park, Florida (FL) since its incorporation in 1960. Ridge Air Conditioning, Inc is currently owned by David L. Scott, President. David brings the expertise of the technology of air conditioning and heat pump systems for both residential and commercial units.

David is also experienced with commercial freezers, coolers and ice machines. His expertise is also found on the installation side of the business. Installing air conditioning and heat pump systems as well as designing, building and installing duct work is what David does best.

Ridge Air Conditioning, Inc. has a sheet metal shop so when the job calls for sheet metal ductwork, Ridge air Conditioning, Inc. will build the duct for the individual customer's needs.Ridge Air Conditioning, Inc. is a member of the Chamber of Commerce in both Avon Park and Sebring Florida.

In Florida we do not usually have furnaces, but instead electric heat strips are used when heat is needed. If you have a Heat Pump System, there is an electric heat strip for back-up heat when the Heat Pump goes into defrost on a chilly Florida day. The electric heat will come on while the Heat Pump is defrosting.

My ac went out at midnight, I called ridge air conditioning and was surprised that my phone call was answered. I explained my issues to the best of my knowledge and paul walked me through how to get the system running for the night.. it worked!!! He than told me what part to order,when the parts arrived he walked me through the replacement. … Everything is working perfect.. I was so impressed my call was answered in the middle of the night and I was coached how to make the repair. I know his time is valuable I I appreciated it so much.i would definitely reccomend ridge air conditioning

We called Ridge A/C for estimate on replacing ductwork on mobile home they were informed home sits low on ground. We agreed to pay $75 service fee on estimate. They came & briefly looked at ductwork telling us it all needed to be replaced. They wrote us a receipt & said someone would call with an estimate after waiting two days we called only to be told "I forgot to call you " but we aren't going to take the job. The technician who came to our home made the decision to turn down the job. Bad customer service to not tell us up front & just leave us waiting by the phone! He probably decided it was

Amazing! David was at our house almost immediately and gave us an honest genuine evaluation of our air conditioning unit. He was able to immediately replace our fan motor and get it running for a fraction of what other companies were trying to charge us. Awesome guy and an awesome company!
